"So, Scarlett, you'll be playing Ivy Morgan. We have decided to make her a Pansexual transfer student, she starts out dating Ben Hope but dumps him and goes on to date Imogen, ok?" Alice Oseman asked me.
"Ok, sounds fun!" I answered looking over the script.
"It says here that Ivy has reddish hair, I don't," I looked up from the script and description of Ivy.
"We will probably just use a wig," Alice shrugged.
"I'm down to dying my hair, I do it all the time anyway," I said wanting a reason to dye my hair red again.
"Really?" Alice looked excited.
"Of course! I wanted to dye my hair red anyway," I said grabbing my phone. "How red are we thinking? Like still kinda brown, red like a fire truck, or Weasley red?"
"Still kinda brown,"
"Ok, I have an appointment for later today. If you want to come with to help pick out a color I'd love for you to join me," I looked back up at Alice hoping for her to say yes.
"I would love to come!"
"Perfect, it's a date then!"

"Ok, ladies, what color are we thinking?" Lauren, my hairdresser, asked me and Alice as I sat down.
"Kind of like a reddish brownish color," I answered.
"We have a lot of those, do you want to see our color selection?"
"Yes, that would be wonderful,"
"Ok, I'll be right back with them,"
"Are you not nervous about your hair coming out wrong?" Alice questioned me.
"No, they have pretty good ratings and reviews on their website. Plus, I can always go and fix it with my dad, he has a license for hair stuff he just also decided that being a lawyer would pay better," I shrugged and Lauren came back.
"So this is the color selection, choose which one best fits your wants," Lauren said. I called Alice over to help her choose. We chose a simple red and Lauren went to work.
