2. Partners

Since I accidentally published the chapter containing the plot of the story, I'll make it up to everyone by publishing an actual chapter.

Soobin sat in class, his eyes not leaving a certain head. The boy sat somewhat in the middle of the class beside the window and soobin was lucky enough to have found a seat a little behind the male.

All the other students were trying to get rid of their boredom, waiting for the teacher to finally shut so they could go home but alas it was just the first period and Mrs. Kim was just getting started.

"alright class you all have a new project coming up. This grade will be affecting your mid terms so think it through, if I like it maybe I'll not fail you"

Everyone groaned at her words. They had just submitted another project yesterday and she had said the same thing but who would wanna question the deviless herself.

"suck it up rodents" Mrs. Kim started talking again, explaining what the project was about and what the had to do.

It was supposed to be performed in pairs and your partner should be your seatmate but of course she has to change the seating again.

Soobin's seatmate before was Jung Sungchan. They're good friends and he's a decent partner to work with on projects.

Soobin isn't exactly a fan of Mrs. Kim's new idea because he doesn't want a lazy partner who dumps all the work on him and he has to do it for the grade.

"zhong chenle and song yuqi
hwang hyunjin and na jaemin
seo youngeun and hwang yeji..."

As Mrs Kim started announcing the names, soobin sat there with a bored look, waiting to hear his name.

"kim sunoo and ji changmin
ning yizhou and wang yiren
shin yuna and shin ryujin" soobin saw the two shins high five each other.

After what seemed like forever, his name finally echoed through the walls of the classroom.

"choi soobin and... wait someone's missing"

Great, now he's probably gonna sit alone for the rest of the year. But as far as he remembered the number of students on his class were even.

Suddenly soobin's eyes darted to the person sitting a few seats in front of him. Soobin's eyes lit up when he saw the guy raise his hand.

"aah yes choi soobin and choi yeonjun"

If soobin could, he would get on his teacher's desk and start jumping around out of happiness to finally be able to even sit next to the pretty boy.

"alright that's it, change your seats right after I leave I'm not waiting for tomorrow. I'll text you guys the project details and I expect you to..."

Mrs. Kim went on and on about the stupid project but soobin's mind was still on his partner and his seatmate for the rest of the year.

Life just can't get any better for choi soobin.
