26. Clownery

Yeonjun was back at work again. The same old routine, except it has been slightly more eventful these days.

Actually a lot more eventful.

He's got a shit ton of clownery to deal with everyday. Not a minute goes by without those clowns screaming their lungs about things that make zero sense.

But yeonjun isn't complaining. He doesn't mind this new change at all.

He was cleaning the table when a shadow blocked the light from the front.

He looked up, slightly surprised to see the person in front of him "what are you doing here"

Three more heads peeked from behind him and soobin spoke "we're here to eat"

"right, give me a second I'll take your order"

Yeonjun took their order back to the desk, ready to pass it to the kitchen and someone blocked his way.

He suspiciously glanced at his boss' extremely mischievous expression

"what?"

"go sit them" jungkook smiled

"I'm working" yeonjun tries to walk past him but he is blocked again.

"just go"

"hyung I can't just go invited"

"they want you there"

"how do you even know that?" yeonjun huffed.

Jungkook looked at the four behind yeonjun who quickly looked away when they saw jungkook "they think they're being very subtle with the glances"

Yeonjun hesitated as he glanced at the kitchen door and then at jungkook.

But he didn't have a chance to do anything when jungkook took off his apron and pushed him towards the table his friends were seated at.

Yeonjun stumbled through his way and turned around to glare at jungkook who in return gave him a cheeky smile.

Yeonjun quietly sat with his friends, the others not questioning since they were too engrossed in their conversation.

Not even a few seconds later beomgyu got up while holding the maknaes' hands and said "I suddenly remembered we have to do something oops looks like you two will have to spend some quality time together"

"hey I was going to eat" Kai complained but immediately shut up when he saw beomgyu glare at him.

"oh thank God I was so not ready to deal with a couple" taehyun gagged as the three walked out.

"so we're alone..." soobin chuckled earning another awkward chuckle from yeonjun.

They sat in silence for a while, thanking everyone around them for talking out loud.

The awkward atmosphere almost annoyed soobin considering they were now a couple.

"let's go" yeonjun snapped out of his trance when soobin held out his hand.

"where?"

"just come with me"

"but we already ordered" yeonjun tried to protest but soobin was already dragging him out of the store.
