Wait.... have I gone back in time?

No one's pov

Severus was standing on the side watching from the outside everything that was happening. First Lily was beating the crap out of Potter and Black, then Pettigrew and Lupin were trying to stop her. Of course of to no avail, Severus couldn't help but let out a small laugh at them.

Oh they're gonna get their asses handed to them.

But then the second thing was the girl who saved him, Severus turned to look at her. He saw that she looked lost in thought, not only that but she was dressed strangely, a Ravenclaw, and about the same age as him.

"Um..... hello?". Severus waved his hand in front of her face trying to get her attention.

She looked startled to see him.

"I just wanted to say thank you for saving me". Severus gave her his best attempt at a small smile.

"You're welcome professor snape". The girl said to him with a dazed look in her eyes. Severus was bit taken a back by her words, he looked at her face for a look of embarrassment from her, but nothing.

"I'm sorry, but I think you have me confused for someone else?". Hoping she was just joking around or confused.

"No, I was talking to you, you're welcome professor". The girl repeated again, and gave him a smile back.

Severus didn't know what to do. The girl kept calling him professor when they were clearly the same age and he wasn't a teacher. He wasn't sure if she was pulling a prank or being serious, but of course she wasn't, her eyes showed all seriousness to what she said.

"By the way professor, I was wondering if you could help me return back to my time?". The girl asked him in a dreamy voice.

Is this girl crazy?! Snape couldn't help but think that when at the same time Luna's thoughts were,
If anyone can help me, it's professor snape.

Luna asked the professor to help her return to her time. She didn't know exactly how she got here but she was sure he would know. After all he was very smart and knew everything. Luna saw that he wasn't replying to what she asked him and was confused at that.

"Professor did you hear what I said? Or did wrackspurts get into your head?". Luna asked her teacher, well at least her soon-to-be teacher.

"No, I did hear you, but I really don't understand". Professor snape spoke with much confusion, probably at the fact she mentioned wrackspurts.

"What's not to understand? You are my professor, I want your help to return back to my time. As I appear to have gone back in time it seems". Still not dropping her smile, the girl seemed to be acting as if this was casual, which was causing the young snape to have a mini breakdown.

"I-i don't even know you and where you're from". Really wishing he didn't just stutter, snape didn't know if he was losing his mind or if the girl had lost her's.

"My name is Luna lovegood sir, and I'm from the year 1996. You are the potions teacher at hogwarts and head of slytherin".

That was it. Severus fainted from the information said to him. As he fell to the ground a second time, luna quickly grabbed him before he hit the roots of the tree. Lily had seen this mid fight and ran to his side shouting his name. That was the last thing he heard before he lost......
