Chapter 1:A new Start

Pranali's Pov: Finalllllllly it's Abhira wedding, i can't believe that so much money and efforts are put for a wedding sequence it's so tiring but feels so good that I am part of such a huge show and lucky that I got this show, I got the best gift of my life from this show my love Harshad. I still remember how things started our first meeting, my audition and not to forget all our firsts together.(there is a crimson red blush on her cheeks) I remember my audition day I was so damn nervous and today I am wearing this bridal attire with confidence.

Flashback
I was damn nervous when I got this call for audition from Rajan Shahi's office, there was a lot of excitement and a lot of nervousness, and the show that i was auditioning for was a really popular show and i dint want to lose this opportunity, i had done some good work in the past but not as much that I could get recognition in this industry, this was a chance and I wanted to grab it.

I reached on set and saw few more girls waiting nervously for audition when I entered Garima ma'am came to me and gave me the script and told me to go through it she was leaving when she saw that i was really nervous so stopped and told me not to worry and wished me luck. Her approach was really warm and that gave me some confidence so I rehearsed my lines well and then i was called Inside I gave my audition and looked at the faces of the people who were taking my audition they had a slight smile on their faces they told me to wait outside.

I was waiting outside the office impatiently I dint know what those smiles ment, Garima ma'am came running to me I saw one more girl with her, She said "Pranali come we have one more scene for you to perform then we shall see what happens", so I asked her do I have to perform this scene alone she said no this scene is between you and the hero. So I asked her who's the hero so she was like it's a surprise, we were given 30 mins break to have something and I picked a Samosa as I was really hungry. The other girl who came with Garima sat with me so I started talking to her she was Karishma we had a really nice conversation we clicked on the first day itself and suddenly I see Garima entering our room with a guy I couldn't see his face clearly as the curtain was blocking his face but then boom this man enters he was other than Harshad Chooda. Garima introduced both of us to him, meet Mr Harshad Chopda who is going to play the role of Abhimanyu Birla and Harshad meet Pranali who is going to be your Heroin Akshara Goenka and this is Karishma tum dono ke beech mein aane wali vamp Akshara ki behen Arohi Goenka. I and Karishma greeted Harshad with a hi.

Within few minutes other caste members arrived who were suppose to play our brothers Kairav and Vansh Mayank and Sharan. Garima introduced us to them and were told to sit together and have some fun this was like a binding session so that it could reflect on screen. So we were given a small scene just to see how it looks on screen, I have watched this serial as a kid and now I am part of it I was actually unable to digest this fact at the same time I was really happy. From the small conversation that I had with these people it felt good I was happy that the work environment is going to be good.

Karishma was told to leave as her work was done and called the next day to sign the contract. So I asked Garima kya main bhi ja sakti hu? So she said no you have one more scene to do with your Abhimanyu so I and Harshad stayed back and started talking about our past shows and I told him that I loved watching Bepanah and loved Zoya and Aditya love story, and Harshad smiled at me and said thanks. From the first conversation that I had with him he looked like a easy going man.

After 15-20 mins Garima came back to take us on the set we had to perform on Ratan Lambiya, I don't know why but I felt comfortable doing that song with him this man got comfort the moment he entered the room. My nervousness slowly disappeared, no wonder this man is a big start of television he has that aura and has that skill of making the other person comfortable.
The director said cut and we were done for the day, i called mumma to tell that I got the job and will be home in an hour considering the Mumbai traffic.

(Pranali ka likh diya to Harshad ka POV likhna to jaruri hai na, bas thodahi likhungi don't want to bore you guys)

Harshad's POV: I got a call from Rajan Shahi's office for a role in Yeh Rishta kya kehelata hai, and I was called for look test as they were trying to finalise the female lead for the show, I spoke to my manager and she accompanied me to the set the next day so that we could talk about the contract and call time and stuff we went there and met Garima Dimri who was part of the creative department and was taking care of this complete casting process. She welcomed me and briefed on the story line and my role and told me to wait so that they could do like a small look test with 4-5 girls as to see who suits me the best. But she asked me before that do you want to do perform with all of them or do you want to just watch their audition and select one of them, so I said it would be better if I look at the auditions insted of doing the scenes with all of them.

So I watched all the auditions and I liked the last one, it was Pranali's audition, she looked natural and even though she was acting it didn't look fake. Other auditions were just too technical Garima smile at me when I said the last one and said even we were thinking to finalise her she is so raw and natural So I said same thought came to my mind when I saw all the auditions.

After that I was told to wait for some time so that they could do look test with the girl I just finalised so after 20 mins Garima took me on set and there she was this little thing eating Samosa her face was so tiny actually she herself was too tiny, I smiled unknowingly and then she and one more girl came forward and said Hi to me. The other one was told to leave and I had to do scene with Pranali it was a song we spoke for some time to each other before we started performing, when I interacted with her it felt good and I was happy that she is a sweet girl and we would probably have i nice time shooting with her. We performed on the song and I felt some comfort with this one which I never felt on the first meeting with anyone. We were told that we had to come the next day to sign the contract and we start shooting from next week in Rajasthan all the briefings about the Rajastan schedule will be give tomorrow with the whole caste those who are travelling there and also other members will also be present just for a small introduction session. The Birla fam and the Goenka fam.
