Miracle woke up in a hospital bed and I was holding her hand. My eyes were red and my cheeks were wet of tears. Jack had cried as well.
"Daddy." she said weakly. "I'm here honey." I replied and stroked her head. "Scared." she sobbed. "You're gonna be okay, baby girl." said Jack softly. Miracle hugged him. "Don't worry, we won't let anybody hurt you." I said. "We love you so much." he replied. "Love you." said Miracle and smiled.

A doctor came in to talk to us. "Miracle has a stab wound on her tummy and she has an easy concussion." she said. "Will she be okay?" I asked worried. "Yes." said Christina. "Thank God." I replied. Christina gave her a teddy bear and a balloon. "Thank you." she said shyly. "You're welcome dear, I hope you feel better soon." she said with a smile on her face.
"Thank you so much, we are so grateful." I replied. "I'm glad Miracle will be okay." said Christina. "Me too." I replied. She waved at her and she waved back. I picked her up and she fell asleep in my arms. I put a blanket on her and carried her to the car. She slept all the way home.

Jack's: POV
I went out to get more firewood. But I felt watched. I couldn't see anyone. I took the wood and went out.
"Hello Jack." said a man. I turned around and saw Anthony. I almost dropped the wood. He went up to me, but I pulled him away. "How dare you show your face here?" I asked. "Don't be so mean." said Anthony. "You killed Esme and sends me to a mental asylum." I replied coldly. He saw my engagement ring.
"Don't tell me you and Adam are getting married." said Anthony. "Actually, we are." I replied. He laughed. "You're a ghost and he's human. You'll live forever while Adam will grow old and die." said Anthony. "I don't care, I'll always love him." I replied. "Sad." he said and left.
