I was driving Dustin and a girl I got introduced to as Max to some rental store, apparently Dustin and Max knew some people There called Steve and Robin who could help us. Dustin also had a plan on how to find Eddie.
We walked into the store and the first thing I saw was a tall guy with fluffy hair and a girl beside him. I had no idea what Dustin was planning so I stood by the door waiting for them to do whatever they had to.
Dustin : HEY, Steve how many phones you've got?
Steve : are you guys seeing this somone was just murdered, he said shocked.
Dustin : HOW MANY PHONES DO YOU HAVE?
Steve : we have two, why?
Robin : well technically 3, if you count Keith's
Max : yeah 3 works.
Dustin quickly jumped over the counter accidentally dropping some tapes on the ground.
Steve : NO NO NO NO MY TAPES, DUDE WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
Dustin : setting up base of operations here
Robin : Base of operation?
Dustin took a seat by the computer and started typing.
Steve : get off,
Dustin : no I need it!
Steve : need it for what?!
Dustin : Eddie's friends phone numbers,
Steve: oh your new best friend you think you think is cooler because he plays your nerdy game?
Dustin : yes, I never said that.
Robin : is calling Eddie's friends an emergency?
Dustin : CORRECT,
Steve : do you want me to strangle him or should I?
Robin : we could take turns.
Dustin : MAX FILL THEM IN ON WHATS HAPPENING?
Max started to explain everything that was happening, and I just stood there looking back and forth between them trying not to disturb there " peace full " conversation.
Steve : and her, he pointed at me and I gave him an akward wave.
Max : she's helping us.
He gave me a glance as he started to argue with Dustin again.
As Dustin was done writing down phone numbers he gave everyone a phone and they started calling people. As they talket to Person after person they crossed out names, i still stood by the door fidgeting with my fingers and waiting for them to get an answer.
Max : Hey guys I might have a lead!
Everyone stoped what they where doing and turned to Max I went a bit closer, trying not to feel left out.
Max : apparently Eddie gets his drugs from some guy named reefer Rick, and sometimes Eddie stays there.
Robin : and where does this reefer guy liv?
Max : see that's the thing no one knows, he's more of a legend than somone people actually know.
Dustin : well what about a last name?
Max : they don't have that either
Steve : but the cops know a last name,
Max : what?
Steve : cops, i mean if this reefer Rick is actually a drug dealer I garantie you he's been busted at some point. It is in the system.
Dustin : THE COPS? Really Steve? That's your suggestion?
