Chapter 8.

( still at the police station )

Y/N's pov

Officer : that still doesn't explain why Chrissy was found at your place when you were home.

Y/N : actually he wasn't home.

Eddie gave me a confused look, but played on with it.

Y/N : he was at my place.

Officer: was your brother home?

Y/N : no..

Officer: and why have you waited so long to tell us this?

Y/N : well.. we where meeting in secret, so we didn't want to tell anyone. We didn't know Chrissy had been killed and when Eddie suddenly became a wanted man we panicked so we ran.

The officer looked towards Eddie.

Eddie : yeah.. her brother didn't want us hanging out so we meet up in secret and I promised I wouldn't say anything.

Y/N : we don't know how Chrissy ended up at his place, maby sombody wanted to frame him.

Eddie : yeah it's weird how Jason and Patrick where together and suddenly Patrick died.

Y/N : yeah and his explanation, that he suddenly went flying up in the air. Doesn't it sound like he's gone mad?

Eddie : he doesn't like me so maby he's the one running around killing people and playing the victim trying to frame me.

An officer went out of the room, and the other one looked stunned.

Out of a little glass window on the wall I saw an officer take my brother into another room, probably for questioning, oh god I really hope he doesn't mess up.

( one hour later )

We were still sat in the same room waiting for someone to tell us what will happen next.

Finally an officer came into the room.

Officer: we talked to your brother, it seems what you're saying is true. He wasn't home and he did suspect you two meeting in secret. Because of the lack of evidence that Eddie indeed is the murderer we have decided to let you go for the moment but this isn't over.

A huge smile grew on me and Eddie's faces. The officer un cuffed Eddie and took us out the room.

We looked over to a bench where Dustin, Max, Nancy, Robin, Lucas, Erica , Steve and my brother were sitting. They looked thrilled to see us.

Dustin : SO?

Y/N : we are free to go.

They all broke down in celebration,

Steve : we have a lot to say, Robin took my arm and Dustin took Eddie's dragging us out the police station.

As we were walking out we saw Jason getting hand cuffed.

HAHAHA that bitch got what he deserved.

They leed us to Max's house. Me and Eddie didn't have a clue what was happening but we were in a hurry.

Her mom wasn't home.

Y/N : so?

Steve : we have a plan on how to defeat vecna. But it's risky.

Nancy : we also know who vecna target's,

Robin : people with trauma,

Eddie looked at me, he must be wondering what my "trauma" was.

Steve : anyways that's not the point, he needs to kill 4 people to open a big gate all throughout the city.

Eddie : how many has he killed?
