Nobody POV:

Giyuu woke up on the floor. Had he blacked out? This kind of thing had only ever happened once before. He sat on the floor as he remembered the events of last night. How was he going to confront Rengoku? Surely he had already told all of the other hashira. shaking his head, Giyuu slowly got up and went to go change into his uniform.

"What am I going to do now? should I just stay inside and wait for tomorrow? No, Obanai and Shinazugawa haven't taken their revenge yet, so I should probably leave before they get here."

His thoughts were interrupted.

"Caw, caw! Hashira meeting in thirty minutes! Be ready!"

"Shit! How am I supposed to avoid Rengoku now? Not to mention, all of the hashira are going to hate me!"

Giyuu shook his head and hurried to where he was going.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Giyuu was walking the more scenic route today. Not because it was pretty, but because it took longer. Suddenly, he began to hear someone's footsteps following closely behind him.
"Tomioka-san?"
Giyuu stopped dead in his tracks.
"Tomioka-san, are you okay?"
It was Tanjiro.
"I'm fine, just on my way to a hashira meeting."
'Oh, okay. Sorry to bother you, Tomioka-san!"
"It's okay, I don't mind."
With that, Tanjiro walked away. What a strange interaction. What did he even want to talk about? Giyuu walked for another four minutes, and he found himself Infront of the gate. he took a deep breath.
"Just leave as soon as you can. that way, nobody will try to talk to you about wat happened."
That was his plan. It was quite small, but that's all he really needed.
He opened the gate, with 3 minutes left to spare.
Giyuu could feel the gazes of every hashira turn to him. Luckily, though, they didn't last long. Giyuu quickly made his way to the most isolated area he could see.
"Why do you always separate yourself from us, you selfish bastard."
Giyuu immediately knew who said that.
"I'm different from you all."
"Why do you always act like you're better than us, asshole."
"That's not what I mean."
"I know what you mean, bitch."
Giyuu just stayed silent. Moments later, Ubuyashiki stepped out towards the sun. All of the hashira kneeled down.
"Hello my children. How are you all on this fine day?"
"We are doing great, Oyataka-sama!" This time, Mitsuri was the first hashira to speak.
Giyuu could hear a "Tch" coming from the group of hashira, and he knew who did it aswell.
"That's good to hear. Anyways, on with the meeting. Tomioka and Mitsuri, you two will be going on a mission together in the ______ district. Lots of young women have been reported missing there, and I would like it if you two would go.
Giyuu could practically hear the anger radiating off of Obanai, and tried not to smile. He didn't see Mitsuri as a love interest, he thought of her more as a sister. But it was fun to see Obanai get so angry over Giyuu hanging out with her.
"Obanai, you also have a mission. I would like you to ascend to the village of _____. There are rumors of a demon walking those grounds."
As Ubuyashiki was assigning them all missions, Giyuu could feel the gaze of the flame hashira fall apon him. At that moment he heard the words he had been dreading but at the same time waiting for.
"You are dismissed, my children."
Giyuu felt relieved but scared at the same time. "Wait a minute, he didn't say anything about last night. Does that mean that Rengoku stayed silent about the situation?"
He shook his head and went back to his main priority. getting the fuck out of there. Unlike last time, he was the first one outside of the gates.
