Giyuu took a sip of his tea.
Kishi was laying down in Giyuu's lap as she slept.
It was a Wednesday, normally a very calm day of the week.

But of course, there was a weekly hashira meeting.
As expected, Giyuu heard his crow flying by.

"Caw, caw! Hashira meeting! Hashira meeting!"
Giyuu's crow was getting old. It no longer provided accurate timings and sometimes sent him on the wrong direction. However, he could always count on it for hashira meetings.

Giyuu quickly finished his tea and set it down on the coffee table. He then pat Kishi on the head and picked her up, placing her next to him. Giyuu stood up, and began walking to his door.

"Giyuu, you are going on a mission with Sanemi to the _____ village. There are rumors of a demon lurking there."

Sanemi's smile quickly faded as he opened his mouth to speak, but quickly shut it again.

All of the while Iguro was shooting glances at Giyuu. Giyuu knew that Iguro was going to tell someone sooner or later, and that wouldn't be good for Giyuu.

He didn't want to have everyone pitying him.

He just wanted to be left alone.

Shinobu released a drop of wisteria poison into the mixture. She was trying something new, possibly trying to find an alternative to wisteria.
This would be very difficult and surely take time, but in the end, it might be very useful.

*Knock, knock, knock." The sound of knocking on the door of her lab could be heard clearly.

"Come in!" Shinobu yelled at she placed her materials down.

"Miss Shinobu? There's someone waiting for you."
The sound of one of the butterfly girl's voice ring in the air.

"Who is it?" Shinobu asked. Some people just weren't worth her time.

"It's mr. Obanai, Shinobu-san.."
Shinobu froze. What did he want? They never speak to each other unless it's about Kanroji.

"Tell him I'll be right down." Shinobu said as she took off her gloves.
The butterfly girl nodded and walked away, shutting the door behind her.

Shinobu took off her goggles and walked towards the sink to wash her hands. What did that emo snake boy want? Whatever it was, it was probably about Mitsuri.

Shinobu finished cleaning up and exited the room.

As she made her way down the stairs, she could already see the ugly serpent hashira standing outside and.. giving the butterfly girls sweets? How nice of him! Shinobu opened the door, and Iguro quickly turned to her, frantically stuffing the sweets into his pockets.

Before Shinobu could say anything about it, Iguro spoke.

"Kocho, I would like to speak to you about Tomioka."

.

"Ah, I see." Iguro had just told Shinobu about the cuts, most likely because she's the medic of the group. Shinobu nodded.

"Unfortunately, you're a little late to the party. I have known about this for awhile now."
Iguro was visibly shocked.

"How!? Did he tell you!?" Obanai was now yelling.

"Please lower your voice, you might scare the girls. And no, he didn't tell me. I saw them while tending to his wounds from a mission." Shinobu spoke in a calm tone.

Iguro was still shocked, and for some reason, a bit angry. Instead of showing his anger, though, he just nodded and stood up, presumably to leave. While he walked out the door, he couldn't help but wonder why Shinobu hadn't told anyone.

Whatever, he had a mission to complete anyways.

He stopped and looked back at the butterfly mansion after he heard a noise. There he was, the one and only Tomioka, talking to Shinobu.

"Can you take care of my cat for me while I'm on my mission?" Iguro could hear their conversation, but quickly left since he didn't want to invade.

Sorry about this chapter being short! I have really bad writer's block atm.
