I Broke the Ice/ Ongoing(On Hold)

chapter 7:Hazel

School went by quickly today as it usually does on Wednesdays. After school, Victor took me home, and then he went home right after.  When I got home I went straight to my room and Aiden was sitting on my bed.

"Hey, little sis."
"Hey... Why are you in here?"
"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out with me?"
"Of course, I would let me get changed and then I'll be ready."

I went through my closet and got out a black long sleeve undershirt, a graphic t-shirt, a pair of ripped skinny jeans, and my combat boots. I went to my bathroom and changed into my clothes. I tucked in my graphic tee and I put on a couple of my gold bracelets and my favorite necklace. I put my hair in a low ponytail and took a few pieces out to frame my face. I put on a pair of earrings and looked at myself in the mirror. Damn, I'm hot.

I walked down the stairs.

"I'm ready Aiden!"
"Coming, Haze."

Aiden came over to me and grabbed his keys. We then went out to his truck which was just a black pickup truck. I got into the passenger's seat while he got into the driver's side.

"Can we go to the gas station and get an Icee and a bag of chips please."
"Sure... Soooo you and Victor?"
"You too."
"What your my little sister and I need to make sure no boy ever hurts you."
"Ughhh fine yes we are together."
"Well, I figured dummy... How long?"
"A week and a day"
"Ohh your even keeping count huh. You must really like him then."

I nudged him as we pulled up to the gas station, "Need anything?"
"Ya can you get me some skittles and get $20 on pump 3 please."

He handed me $40 which I doubt I needed that much but I don't really care. I went in and went to get the skittles and my bag of chips which was 2 bags of blue Doritos. Then I went to the Icee machine and got a large and filled it all the way to the top of the lid.

I went to the register to pay when Zach walked in. I felt obligated to wave to him so I did. He grinned and walked up to me.

"Your gonna get diabetes, Tesoro."
"I don't really care because fuck it's so good. Anyways what are you doing."
"Just getting gas."
"Fun I'm hanging out with my older brother."

"That'll be $10.49 ma'am." the cashier said.
"Ohh also can you put 20 on pump 3 please, thank you."
"Of course, that'll be $30.49 then."
"Have a nice day."
"You too ma'am."

"Have fun, Tesoro. Also, love your outfit."
"Thanks, Stronzo."

I walked out to pump three and got in the car. Aiden was standing by the pump getting the gas.

When he was done he got in the truck and asked, "Who was that?"
"That was Zach. He and I  have Italian together and he's the one doing the project with me."
"Ohh ok."
"Where are we going?"
"Your favorite place."
"Wait really!"
"Of course, little sis."

We made it to this little bookstore that kind of in the middle of no where I found it while driving around with Aiden about two years ago. I even found a route so that I could walk here.

The store is beautiful on both the inside and out. Outside its a little cabin surrounded by trees. On the inside it has fairy lights hanging on the ceilings and some even along the walls with some fave ivy vines. In the right corner with the ivy vines is a light pink corner couch with cut pillows on it. There is a register counter on the left side and the rest of the store is filled with isles of bookshelves and every bookshelf is all the way filled.

I walk straight to my favorite section, YA.

I go through the books and read the backs and give the ones that I want to Aiden. He just smiles at me while I give him the books.
