Chapter 10: Victor

~Victor~

After I kissed Hazel I haven't been able to think of anything else. I want to kiss her again and again.

When I woke up this morning her head was on my chest and had her arms wrapped around me.

I shook her a little so she would wake up for school.

"Five more minutes."
"No we gotta get to school. I'll go get you some coffee so while I'm doing that you get ready, Okay?"
"FIne."

She rolled over and fell off the bed and let out an 'oww'
"You okay Haze?"
"No."
"Okay." I laughed.

I got up and went to get us some coffee. When I got down to the kitchen there was a note on the island saying,

'Hey son I won't be home until next Satuday. I'm going on a business trip and I got some food and put it in the fridge so you can have food and I left some money on your desk in your room. Also tell Hazel I said good morning.
Love you son -your father.'

I started the coffee and while I was waiting for it I looked in the fridge and there was a couple of things for food.

I heard a noise and looke up to see Hazel coming downstairs. She was wearing the jeans that I washed for her and one of my plain black t-shirt.
"Coffee."Hazel said tiredly.
"Its almost done."

I went to the coffee machine and got two cups and put the coffee in them. I put a little bit of creamer in Hazel's and gave it to her.

"Liquid life right here."
I laughed and got out something to eat.
"Do you have poptarts?"
"Ya you want one?"
"Yes I do."

I went to the pantree and got her a blueberry one. Blueberry poptarts are amazing in my opinion.

"Thanks VIc."
"Your welcome."

I kept looking at her lips wanting to kiss her and feel her soft lips on mine again but I don't want to ruin what we have. She thankfully was acting like nothing happened.

It made me a little sad but I just can't ruin what we have but I will get her one day I don't care what it takes.

I've been in love with her forever and I finally have an excuse to be around her 24/7. We ate and then made our way to school. When we got to school Axel, Gael and Jay were all standing at the entrance of the school.

"Hey guys."
"Hey Victor and Hazel."
"Hey, I gotta get to class but I'll see y'all at lunch. And I'll see you in english." She got on her tipitoes and kissed my cheek and left.

"Couple goals." Gael said laughing.
"I gotta get going too, see y'all later."

I made my way to class and sat in the front. After Hazel tutored me I think I can do this. It seemed easy enough when she was explaining it to me.

Class went by fast and I understood perfectly now.

Class went by quickly and soon it was lunch time. Lunch us only 30 minutes lo g sadly but it's long enough to just sit the and chat with friends and to eat.

School lunch in high school isn't too bad. My school usually has a bag of chips the main dish and some fruit.

Today we are having hamburgers and french fry's.

When I got to the cafeteria Gael and Axel were already sitting down at the table eating with Jay, and I saw Hazel in the line talking to her friends Kenna and Novah. They were more up in the line and already getting food.

When I got my food I went to go sit down.
"Hey, Haze. "
"Hey Vic, how'd math go? "
"I actually understood what she was talking about. "

"That's good!"
"Yeah."
"Also I wanted you to meet Kenna and Novah."

"Hey, it's nice to meet y'all."
"You too." They said at the same time and laughed.

We talked for the rest of lunch and then the bell rang. I want to spend more time with Hazel. I wish we had more classes together.

There was only two more hours of school left and I'm thankful.

I think after school Hazel is gonna be hanging out with Kenna and Novah sadly.

I'm pretty sure she is going to the party that is tomorrow so I'll see her then and I'll see her in two hours because I am driving her home like usual.

Art went by quickly and wold history went by quicker.

When the bell rang I jumped up out of my seat and gathered my stuff. I made my way to my car to see Hazel waiting on her phone next to the passenger door.

"Hey, how's your day going."

She looked up at me and smiled. She mummble something  that sounded around the lines of 'better now' and then she said, "It was okay how about you?"

"It was good..." but I wish I spent the more time with you.

"That's good."
"Mhmm. Ok let's get going."
"Okay Kay."

I opened the door for her and she got in and I hurriedly got to my side and got in and started the car.

We didn't speak the entirety of the drive but it was a comfortable silence.

My hand was on her thigh and she was fidgeting with my rings like usual.

We pulled up in her driveway and sat there for a second and then said, "I'll see ya tomorrow, right?"

"Mhmm of course."
I kissed her cheek and then she got out of the car and went into the house.

When I knew she was inside and safe I started driving home. My dad wasn't gonna be home until next Saturday so I had the house to myself for a week.

And I know what your thinking, 'he's gonna have a party' nope your wrong that's Gael's thing I'm gonna binge watch Stranger Things.

The rest of the day was a blur because I was exhausted so as soon as I got done eating I took a shower and fell asleep.
