"I want you to find them as soon as possible. We can't afford to lose track this time." Kakucho's boss, Sano Manjirou sternly said as his voidless eyes darted at each of his executives. Them on the other hand, nodded obediently.
When the white-haited male finally stood up, it was already a sign for them that the meeting has finally ended. Mikey was the first one to go out, then followed by Sanzu. Before Kakucho could walk farther, a voice called him from behind.
"Did boss told you?" Haitani Rindou asked him, making the scarred male confused. "Told me what?" He asked cluelessly. "We're going to have a new executive. Sanzu told us earlier." Ran chimed in to the conversation.
A new recruit? And this time, as one of Bonten's executives? This is the very first time Mikey announced it, but why didn't he do it on all of them? These two must've forced the pink-haired male to spill the announcement to them so they got to know the news ahead everybody else.
"Sanzu says its a girl, but I don't think Mikey would hire a woman as an executive. Right, brother?" Rindou stated, making his elder brother nod in agreement. As the three finally went out of the meeting room, they heard a faint voice coming from the hallway of their building.
"Hey, look." Rindou said, gesturing his hand to his brother and Kakucho to walk closer. The intersection in the hallway is a good spot for them to eavesdrop into somebody's conversation.
"I told them to find the traitor who leaked the business negotiations we're going to have in the following month." It was Mikey's voice, talking to someone, which made the men pretty confused, eyebrows furrowing as they exchanged glances.
Their eyes suddenly widened as they heard a woman's voice, humming in response to what their boss said. "Alright. I'll tell my men to look for those scraps too." Kakucho almost balled his eyes out as he quickly recognizes the voice he heard.
He didn't hesitate to lightly pull Rindou away and sneaked on the wall, trying to see for himself who the woman is.
And there, he felt his breathe hitched, seeing a h/c-haired woman and her e/c orbs staring back at their boss. Her height is the same as Mikey and they seem to be really getting along formally well.
"Y/N?"
