For hours she called out for help, for anyone, and ran up and down the coast. After exhaustion caused her to stop and she collapsed to her knees near the stream she woke in. Exhausted of crying and screaming, her throat burning from its strain, Ella sat in silence and just tried to reason everything.

Could it have all been a dream? No if it was a dream it was way too real. And how did she end up out here? Did she not die but was instead kidnapped? No he ran, there was no one else around. Plus no matter how much her blood ran cold at the thought, she most certainly died. She felt it. Ella tried to reason and figure out anything all night. The only semi reasonable thing she could think off was transmigration. She always found the novels interesting in theory, but in practice? She felt numb at the thought that she would just most likely never have any answers. In her state she entered some form of shock and lay on the shaded ground for the rest of the night and whole of the next morning.

It must be around noon.  Was Ella's first coherent thought, slowly pulling her out of her current state. The sun was high in the sky blazing angrily at the world below. She saw small heat waves pulsing off the sandy beach and sat up against the nearby tree, glad she she was under it instead of fully exposed. Clothes now damp again from sweat this time instead of the cool stream. And the thought of the stream her throat burned with need. " I don't want to die again." Ella mumbled. " What did they do in those survival shows?" She knew they were staged but some of what they said had to be true right? Someone in the studios had to have done an amount of research.

She pulled her stiff and aching body up the tree and stood leaning against it. " first I need water, then shelter, and next food" she mumbled aloud trying to give her body a sense of the urgency she felt. Unfortunately the only urgency her body felt after standing was to use the bathroom. Ella went behind the tree to relieve herself. For privacy? She thought when she was done. A dry chuckle escaped her lips. She knew she was alone. After how she carried on yesterday if anyone was around they would have come out.

Back on the task of survival. "First water" she walked over to her stream kneeling on the bank cupping the water. Aren't I supposed to boil this? Oh well not like I have fire or a pot or anything. She brought her hands to her lips taking a big sip then immediately spitting it out coughing. Ella had forgotten the salty taste in her mouth when she woke up. She was so close to the sea of course the stream would also be salty.

As she sat next to the stream once she was done coughing she panicked a little again " What am I supposed to drink? I didn't see any pools or other streams yesterday." A few tears slid down her cheeks. She quickly brought both hands to her cheeks with a sharp slap. "You can't cry anymore. You need to find water and hopefully shelter near it." If I keep going upstream the water will be fresh eventually right? Ella thought. Oh well better than wondering aimlessly and getting lost. If nothing else she could follow the stream back. This gave her a small sense of security. With a rough plan in mind Ella shakily stood and started upstream.
