Ella groaned as her head throbbed. Sitting up she realized she was back in her and Fox's nest. Thinking it was all a dream she looked around only to see the leopard laying near the entrance covered in wounds. Silently crying, she looked around hoping Fox was still with her and not dead or dying somewhere. She froze when she looked behind her in Fox's normal spot only to see a large, very naked, man. He had bright red hair that went down his back and fair skin littered with wounds and bruises. His body was covered in claw marks, some of which were still bleeding. On his right bicep, the arm that was drapped over her waist, was two crimson stripes. They looked like tattoos.
Momentarily entranced by the presence of another person, she reached out to touch his face only to stop a few inches away. Instead of being on the side of his head his ears sat on top of his head. They weren't normal ears either, they were pointed dog like ears. Then she saw movement and when she looked she saw a bushy fox tail protruding from just above his chisled and toned behind. NO! Focus. Now isn't the time to admire. Why does this man have ears and a tail! Where's Fox? Why is the leopard still here?
While she was panicking she didn't notice the sob that broke the silence. The man's eyes snapped open and he immediately had her in his arms. He spoke into her ear in a pained and worried voice. "Are you okay? You're not hurt are you? When I heard you scream I came as fast as I could. I didn't even notice you fainted till after the fight was over. I didn't see any wound..." suddenly he stopped and inhaled deeply, pressing his nose into the crook of Ella's neck. "Your estrus smells so good my flower." He pulled her closer with a groan and she felt something firm press against her stomach. When she realized what it was she no longer sat still in terror.
She pushed him away with all the strength she had and could feel the blush consuming her. Now out of his grip she stood and started to back away as he looked at her shocked. She heard a growling sound and froze. The leopard was behind her. She froze again and then heard a man's voice from behind her. "Do you prefer my company little mouse?" A deep chuckling voice asked. Ella glanced over her shoulder to see yet another naked man. His skin a dark ebony with a long sleek tail flitting around behind him. On his hip sat two gold tattoos similar to the other man's. His eyes a enchanting golden with slit pupils. Atop his head were rounded black ears and shagy black hair that went a little past his ears. Taking a deep inhale he commented. "Not that I mind. The fox is right you smell delicious." He licked his lips and she saw his manhood also begin to harden.
Not knowing what to do she ran into the smaller fire chamber. Cheeks burning and feeling trapped, along with another feeling she didn't want to acknowledge right now, she noticed almost all the embers were out and the fire dead. Not knowing what else to to she got to work building it back to life. Once it lived again she sat facing the chamber entrance, back against the wall, knees pulled up to her chest. She could hear the men quietly talking to each other. After some growling it sounded like they left. Not knowing what to do, or where her sweet fox was she sat there till the feeling between her legs became to uncomfortable.
She glanced into the other chamber to make sure it was empty then cleaned herself and replaced her rag with another. She cautiously exited the burrow and washed it in the pool. When she turned to return to the burrow she froze. Both beast were standing there each holding their own kills. Tears welled up when she saw the state of Fox. He was bloodied and covered in gashes. Sniffling she called out. "Fox?" He immediately dropped his kill and sprinted over. Whining he rubbed his face against her while licking the tears from her face. Before she could say anything or ask why they were together, or where he had been, his body shifted and became smaller. Soon the red headed man from earlier was there embracing her and whispering reassurances.
