It had now been a little over a week since they decided to become a clan. They had since found suitable locations for the others homes and began construction. The stags seemed to prefer above ground living and  started to construct some large dome shaped homes that reminded Ella of Native Americans. Intrigued, she showed them she showed them how she made and reinforced their door. After a busy week of clay gathering and mixing with other insulators and binders the home was complete. They had tended to a great fire inside all night and the house had dried, and baked from the inside out. They had constructed a much smaller version for Tarak in a separate area as well. Today they would spend the day collecting resources to stock their home before they moved in.

They decide as a group everyone should focus on Arya's family, then in the coming days while they became supplied Tarak could remain in the burrow until they also helped to stock him and remake up some of the supplies used in Ella's burrow. While the all the males except Bruno went out to hunt and forage food, Ella and the remaing females and stag went our looking for bedding materials and firewood. Ella had fun playing with and showing little Asha how to dry things by the fire. By the time night fell they were more successful than anticipated, and Asha's family was ready to move out. They agreed in the coming days she would show them how to extract salt and how to use it to preserve food.

With them moved out Tarak was temporarily moved into the fire room. Giving the main bed chamber back to Ella and her males. She hated to admit it but she was very happy with this. She hated how embarrassed she felt every morning when she would allow herself to be caught up in the attraction only to remember there was someone essentially right there. It was clear Caius's and Ravi's good nature was running thin with the poor stag as well, they were usually short with him every morning. It really wasn't his fault but the step back was needed.

As they were getting ready for bed Ella heard growling and turned to see both her males in beast form staring at her. Startled by their behavior she called to them. "Caius, Ravi what's wrong?" She held her arms open to call them to the nest but they stood still with quit growls and shaking limbs. Startled she saw Tarak emerge from the other room in stag form and begin to walk forward. This caused her males to turn with bristled fur and bared fangs on the stag. He thought for a moment then stamped his hooves before turning and returning to the other room. When they were sure he wasn't coming back they quited and looked at one another. When they began to circle one another posturing for a fight Ella became alarmed. They often held mock battles as training and bonding but this was different. This seemed real.

Right before they were going to clash she was between them. Stoping in their tracks they stood rigid and stared at one another over her. Ella was now even more confused, they didn't seem angry, then why were they fighting? "What happened? Why are you guys fighting?" She asked shaken up. Neither broke eye contact but they each let out a small growl and tried to gently shift her back to the nest. Not one to be dismissed and feeling distressed she refused to move and asked again, now letting a few tears slip down her cheeks knowing they would never want her to cry. "Why are you fighting? Is this about me? Are you mad at me, is that why you aren't talking to me?"

At this they both quit their posturing and began to lick her cheeks and rub their heads against her. This only made her cry harder. Before long Caius broke and transformed to hug her, shortly followed by Ravi. It started as a ploy to get them to listen to her but now she was crying in earnest. They all sat on the ground with her between them. Ella kept whispering "why?" Between the hiccups and this time it was Ravi that broke. He let out a deep breath before turning her face to him and kissing her forehead. "I'm sorry little mouse. We aren't angry with you it's just hard to think right now. Usually this would be an issue settled before this happened but we forgot to. So it's something that needs to happen."

She felt confused. "Settle what? What's the problem?" Looking baffled the two males looked at one another then back at her. Caius made her look at him before he spoke. "We forgot it's different where you're from. We're sorry my flower. We can smell your estrus will start soon. Even if you don't take either of us we need to decide who will go first whenever you are ready." Blushing with tear stained cheeks she stared at him. "What do you mean you can smell it? Where you able to smell it last time?" He gave a small nod to both questions. In a daze she zoned out. Sensing the opertunity they bagan to move her back to the nest, starting to tense up at each other again.

Noticing the change in atmosphere she was pulled from her daze. So this is really because of me. Why does it come down to a fight instead of what I want. I don't what them to fight and get hurt just to make the choice for me... I guess it is a choice. Ella thought of all her time with both males. Caius's calm sweet nature. How he always went out of his way to make her smile and the way he beemed whenever he got rewarded with head pats or small pecks. Ravi's playful nature and his endless patience with explaining things to her and deciphering her poor explanations. And finally how she felt every morning when they were all drunk from sleep and each others touch, just before the reasoning of being awake came to her. She stopped them as they were about to transform again and spoke. Hand on each firm chest, she allowed her fingertips to slowly trace each man's chest. "And what about what i want?"
