I am currently trying to get myself out of a very pressuring situation but... SHE'S NOT BACKING DOWN!!!
What exactly does she want to talk about? And how come it really has to be now?! Is it that important??
"Okay then Yukina-san! We'll talk!" I eventually gave up.
"Just Yukina is fine. Call me like how you always call me." Yukina persisted.
This girl is persistent on times when she's not supposed to be persistent!!
I don't know much, but I know for a fact that it takes a while before friends call each other by their given names. We've basically dropped honorifics when we use each other's names!
I don't know why I'm only panicking about that now though...
"Alright alright! Yukina...."
"There's something I want to confess." Yukina tells me with a straight face.

AWHILE AGO, I WAS NERVOUS... BUT THIS ONE TAKES THE CAKE!!!!
What do you mean by that Ms. Minato?!
"What do you mean..???" I just had to ask her.
Yukina takes a deep breath before speaking up.
"I want to be able to see the kids from time to time."
"You mean the cats right? Right??? And... didn't we just talk about this earlier?!"
I didn't know Yukina can be such a jokester.
"Would it be possible if whenever we don't have band practice, I can come and see them?"
Yukina's eyes sparkle with sincerity and determination. After that kind of display, who can say no to her innocent little request?
"So that's what you were worried about huh..."
I took my phone out and started sorting through my contacts.
"I'll give you my contact information. If you want to visit the cats when the shop is closed, send me a message."
This is my own way of telling her that she's free to see them anytime she wants.
"I see.... Thank you.." She seems to be blushing slightly and fidgety about this whole situation.
As we were exchanging contact information, she suddenly asked me something.
"Anon, how come you'd go through so much for a stranger?"
That, is a very good question.
Her eyes wandered off to mine, looking at me with worry and anticipation. It's almost as if she looks like a kid that wants her parents to buy her a toy she saw at a shop a few blocks back.
Even if she asks me that.... I'm not entirely sure why. I do love taking care of cats anyways, so another 2 to take care of isn't exactly gonna be a problem for me. But if she's worried about causing me trouble then...
"You showed those 2 kindness and compassion. And I guess I just really liked how you still did your best to give them a home despite not being allowed to keep them. And in a way, it motivated me to help you out."
