It's been over a year now since D and her girls joined my gang. So far, everything's been going good. Over the few months, D's friends started going out with my guys. Chlo's with my buddy Ace, Rave's with Axel, Ave's with Cale and V's with Dalton. The only two people who aren't together is D and I.

And to be honest, I'm okay with it, if she doesn't want to date, then she doesn't have to date. I ain't gonna force her. I may be a bad boy, but I ain't that heartless, even bad boys have hearts. I'm one of them. I was in the living room with D, we were watching a movie.

We've done this a few times, and each time, I sometimes can't help but feel attracted to her. There's just something about her that draws you in, even when she pulls back, you can't help but get sucked into her life. That prick, Alec, he got sucked in, but he only got sucked into her features.

Me, I got sucked into her life, into her past, into her pain. She's been through a lot, she's learned a lot, she's done a lot of things in her life, and yet, not even her own "boyfriend" wanted to know what she went through. He wasn't there for her, he was only there for her body.

He wanted nothing to do with her, and then they broke up and I walked into her life. The first day, wasn't that great, we barely talked except when she made dinner and she told me.

She told me a little bit about her, but not much, and then her father came back into town and that's when she told me the entire story. I remembered I got so mad, I wanted to kill him for hurting her. I couldn't help but feel protective of her. I mean I am a wolf, and I do get those instincts time to time, and that was one of those instincts.

As we were watching the movie, I kept glancing at her every now and then, and she could tell. Even though I tried to not make it so obvious. "Steele, you okay? You keep glancing at me." she asked me.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm good. Sorry about that." I said, trying to not make things worse. But she wasn't having it, she paused the movie and turned to look at me.

"Steele, we've been roommates for the past year, I know you by now. You don't just glance at anything without reason, so what's up?" she asked me.

I sighed and I looked down as I placed my elbows on my knees and held my hands close to my head. "How do I say this?" I said.

"D, you're an amazing girl, and yeah your right, I don't glance at anything without a reason. That reason is I'm attracted to you. There's something about you that just draws me in and I want more. It's like I crave it. Your my drug. I wanna be with you, not as a friend, not as a roommate, but as your mate. I wanna protect you, even though you can protect yourself. I promise, I won't be like him, and I have proved that by being better, so please, will you go out with me?" I asked her.

I looked at her and I saw her blushing like crazy. "D, you okay?" I asked her as I placed a hand on her. She nodded her head and she looked back up at me. And the next thing I knew, she kissed me. Not on the cheek, on the lips. It wasn't a full kiss, just a little peck. But it was an answer.
