Chapter 5: The transferee

Kira's POV

"Thank you, Principal." Nakangiti kong sabi sa Principal ng school namin at inilagay sa folder ang form na binigay niya sa'kin.

"Mag-iingat ka sa bagong school mo."

I'm currently walking around just to take a glimpse of our school. I've been here for a year and now, I'm going to transfer to another school. I'm going to miss my school but I can't do anything about it.

"Bye, Kuya Rej!" Pamamaalam ko sa Guard ng school namin.

"Bye Kira! Ingat! Sana maging masaya ka sa bagong school mo."

I smiled at him. I took a one last glance at my school before I turn around and headed to the bus station. I don't feel like going home so, I decided to drop by at the mall to buy some things in the bookstore. Pagkatapos kong mabili lahat ng bibilhin ko, pumila na agad ako sa cashier. Good thing at wala gaanong tao.

"Sir, pasensya na po hindi po tinanggap yung card niyo. Offline po kasi."

"What the f****! What's the f****ng use of your online banking!"

Napatingin ako sa kabilang side ng cashier dahil sa narinig.

"Ma'am, here's your change po 354 pesos."

"Thank you po."

Pogi sana pero masama naman ugali.

"Sir, pasensya na po talaga. Baka po----"

"F***! Can you just call your manager?"

"Sorry po talaga sir. Baka po may 1,300 pesos na cash kayo."

"Are you gonna call your manager or not?"

"Here po. I'll pay for him." Nakangiti kong saad at ibinigay sa cashier ang pera. Agad naman nitong binalot ang libro at nakangiting binigay sa'kin.

"And who told you to pay for me? Can't you see this?" Malamig na tanong nito sa'kin at ipinakita ang isang itim na card na may nakalagay na 'platinum'. Napaangat naman ako ng tingin at ngumiti.

"Just consider this as a treat from a stranger and besides I like the book you are going to buy 'The Prince First Love' Happy Reading."

"This isn't for me!"

"I see."

"Are you trying to get my attention?"

"No. Bye."

I was just trying to help. This guy is so arrogant. Di nalang sana ako lumapit. Tumalikod na ako at naglakad papalayo sa lalaki ngunit hinatak niya ang braso ko.

"Who are you? Why did you pay for me? I could even buy this whole building if I want to." Seryosong saad nito

"Look sir, I was just trying to help you. No need to pay me."

"Mayaman ka naman pala pero wala ka namang cash tapos arogante ka pa."

"I can hear you at naiintindihan kita." -_-

I'm dead. Akala ko di nakakaintindi. Hinawakan ko ang kamay niya para mabigay ang libro at tumakbo palayo.

Third Person's POV

Hahabulin sana ng lalaki ang babae ngunit nag-ring ang cellphone nito.

*Ring*

"Did you buy the book?"

"Yeah. I'll give it to you tomorrow."

"Aren't you going to school today, cousin?"

"No."
