A character in the novel "Love Thorns" Elsie, a girl with goddess features, a figure like a heavenly beauty, a voice as sweet as honey, and is born with a diamond spoon. She had everything with her but still had nothing. She was just like me a little bit. Everybody abandoned her at last, but she was also different from me in that she still had hopes for happiness. She still tried every way to make people like her, but at last everything went in vain. The people to whom she devoted her whole life, who knew there were just a bunch of monsters.
I still remember the ending lines of this shitty novel...
Every noble and commoner gathered in the hall to witness her execution as a punishment for her evil acts against a girl who was adored by everyone in the entire kingdom. She met every gaze of a person who was full of disgust towards her. She didn't understand what she did wrong. She just wanted everyone to like her, but at last they all declared her a villainess.
She was just waiting for her death now. Before her execution, she looked at her parents, "The Duke and Duchess," and her brother, who didn't even cry. She thought they might finally be happy to get rid of the trash and welcome a new family member to their family, as their new daughter was none other than that girl. She also looked at everyone she trusted, but their eyes were only filled with hatred, and she finally looked at the person who was once her warmth, her love of her life, but was now just a bastard to her.
Her time of death was near before the execution. She last smiled and said,
"HAPPINESS IS JUST A LIE."
And after that, everyone remained happy, and the main characters got their happy ending.
After reading this shitty novel, I had no words to say and even though I didn't have any emotions to express, the pain that Elsie suffered generally touched my soul and I agreed with her that happiness is definitely a lie. For me, after completing the novel, I just threw it in a dustbin. For me, it was just trash.
It was the last novel that I read when I was alive on earth.
But why did God reincarnate me as Elsie, a person like me who has no will to live anymore?
