It was almost dinner time. A maid opened the door and said the dinner was served, master, madam, and young master were waiting.

I almost thought they were waiting for Elsie, but even after entering the ducal house in the evening, they didn't even care to visit their daughter. Well, it doesn't matter to me. Let's just eat the dinner and come back to the room as soon as possible.

I went downstairs and saw them, the so-called family of Elsie. The look in their eyes contained shameless disgust towards her. It didn't affect me as I was already familiar with it. I quietly went to the dinner hall and took a seat as far as possible from them.

After almost 15 minutes of silence, the food was finally served, and when I began to eat, I almost felt someone staring at me, so I looked around and saw the family members looking at me strangely.

Wait! What's wrong with them? Why the hell are they stating this to me? Did I do something wrong? With a lot of thought, I concluded, let's ignore them and eat the food. I returned to my room without even looking at them after finishing the food.

After arriving at the room, I closed the door and opened the window and looked closely at the moon, just as I used to do during my earthly days whenever I didn't feel good and just wanted to disappear. Looking closely, I wondered what the hell I was supposed to do for the next two years. Should I lock myself in a room for two years and then embrace death? I just hope the novel's story begins soon so I can finally leave this fake world and welcome the afterlife.

I felt tired of thinking, so I jumped in the bath and closed my eyes, and without realising it, I felt asleep.

Somewhere in the house, "Why is

she behaving this way?"
