Chapter 29

School had started back and all day i missed , Zion. We got a stay at home nana & moved her into our guest room.

We was riding together but since she didn't have a first period this year. She stayed to spend time with Zion.

To the world we was still together but only the nana , zion , & her sister knew the truth. My classes went 9th being the first and 12th being the last class of the day. I loved the order bc the 9th grade be ready to learn in the morning then with 12th graders they were ready to go & would do anything.

Ms. C came by around 12 to tell me about Zion's doctors appointment. We had the same lunch and she provided. We didn't talk much since we broke up. Only really about Zion or events coming up.

I think it's going to be awhile before we can really talk or be okay again. I can forgive a lot of shit but a marriage. We been together for awhile at some point she should have told me.

~ Later on that day ~

We got off and let our nana have the rest of the day. She wanted to do take out but i wanted to cook at home. Maybe we'll finally get the weirdness out the house.

We got Zion dressed and headed to a restaurant. We met in the middle. We haven't been alone together other than on our lunch breaks in awhile. Always been the nanny , a family member or we go to different rooms.

She wanted to try a new Jamaican place. She knew i loved oxtails and rice. She loved they pasta. We got to the place. Zion was sleep and we just put his sound proof headphones on while we was out so the noise wouldn't wake him up. I was glad the wait wasn't long because the food smell made me hungry.

C: im sorry .

Me: for ??

C: what i did. I should've told you.

Me: yeah ?!

C: i know i should've told you up front.

Me: Yeah but it's crazy first he was your ex boyfriend to find out he really was your husband.. you lied from jump

C: If i could go back and tell you the truth. i would.

Me: same , we both hid things.

C: we had our faults

Me: not faults , but i guess

C: you know what i mean

Me: yeah you had a husband

C: and you hid yo relationship with a few women

Me: you knew about the sex ..

C: would it be different if it wasn't a marriage ?

Me: no

C: okay then

Me: i apologize also

C: I wish things was different

Me: I mean it's awkward but for the most part our son is healthy

C: yk what i mean

Me: oh it's cool , we cool ,

I really wish morgan stop trying to fix things. I hate to say it but i didn't feel the same way. i love her & can never hate her but relationship wise it was nothing.

I wanted to admit I started to talk to someone else but I didn't care to mention it since nothing truly was coming from it.

We enjoyed the live music after eating before heading home. Zion was wide awake which was okay since i couldn't sleep. I set up his play mat & turned on anime while he just played.

Morgan was sleep on the couch after she showered.. she couldn't hang fr. My phone started to ring and without a second thought i answered it.
