Chapter 22

It's been 2 weeks since the night at Morgan's house. I've been so busy planning my birthday, i haven't stop to even think about what Amber said.

Erica: OMG YOU GETTING OLD ! Happy Birthday ☺️

Me: HAHA , only 2 years older than you , thank you.

Erica: are you ready for this weekend ? I've packed already & we needa start picking up everybody who riding to the airport around 2.

Me: yeah put your stuff by the door & i'll put it on the bus.

Erica: okay i'm bout to get dressed...

I texted my birthday gc to make sure everyone was on the same page. The plane boarded around 12 so we was tryna get to the airport around 10 to get thru all the gates and traffic.

Me, Erica, Dex, Kendal, Alicia, Zaria & a few others was taking the 12 plane while Morgan , Vanessa, Amber & a few other of my friends was coming later on , on a later plane since they had to work.

We were going to Erica's family house in the islands on the beach for a weekend getaway. It was nice and spacious. We rarely went so I thought it'll be a good place for a 25th birthday before i get busy throwing myself back into work again.

We got to the house , picked room & got unpacked.

The house was huge & very well kept. They had in they family for years and sometimes rented it out when nobody used it.

It had 6 bedrooms , 2 living rooms , a pool & hot tube that faced the beached, a 5 star kitchen, a cute basement that was like a game room & a bar full of all the good things.

Erica's parent got the house stocked wit food & house things for the weekend with a liquor for the bar as well. Everyone had arrived around 6 & was settled in & Erica took some down to cook even tho we all knew she barely could.

Dex: you are not cooking ! gonna have the woman sick for her birthday

Alicia: I'm not eating if so

Erica: YALL ARE RUDE ! I've been practicing

Me: get off erica, she been taking classes & all.

Zaria: yeah you would take up for her , lol

Me: oh yeah i would but she foresure not cooking tonight. i am

Amber: it's your birthday why you cooking ?

Me: my treat ☺️ plus since erica been on this whole top chef thing i haven't cooked for anyone in weeks.

Ms.C: it's been good , the salmon meal she made was amazing..

Dex: see y'all can't be trusted.. when it comes to Erica.

Us 3: SHUT UP DEX NOW !!

Zaria: why ? we all know how you get when it comes to Ace

Me: zaria you drunk. chill
