Eddie:
I had just finished walking Chrissy home. I sloppily jumped onto my unmade bed and totally slumped there like a starfish. I groaned and decided to change in some old plaid PJ's and no shirt on. I kept my guitar pick-necklace dangling around my neck, and took off a few of many rings.
Before heading to bed, I blasted some Metallica and made sure to bang my head to it. Its a sign of good luck to a wise boy like me. Metal is therapeutic in all, but it isn't the only genre I listen to. I didn't think about it until today. Chrissy totally changed my mind, how she described the art of music and how different genres can affect you, affected me. I know plenty about music and yet with some Madonna and MJ, she totally changed me.
Her and I are completely opposite when it comes to our styles and interests, yet we can have conversations about them for hours.
Like bro, did you know she actually had a cat name Eddy? For one, I hate cats, but for two, he was called Eddy! ALSO! I even had a dog named Chris... Coincidence? I don't know.
That part doesn't matter though, what does, is that I get to see her tomorrow, the day after that, and somehow forever.Chrissy:
As I attempted to sleep in my silky night gown I couldn't help but toss and turn. I tried changing my pajamas, I tried classical music, and even some melatonin, yet there I lay, staring at my ceiling. Thinking about him.
This place is strange... I heard some locals passing by us today discussing how you can't "Reproduce"or die, but I also heard from another that you can get sick... How exactly that works? I'm unsure. But that fact of the matter is that I won't have a normal life, like raising a family or... Dying naturally? I was robbed, so was Eddie, so was every other kid in Hawkins.
I had the perfect idea for tomorrow. But in this place, time isn't really a thing... Neither is a day, or night. I couldn't wait, nor could I sleep. So I decided to get ready, whether it took an hour or somehow three, I was determined to flatter a certain someone.
Eddie:
I pulled an all nighter. Old habits, right? Whatever.
Before changing, I made sure to admire my shirtless-self in the mirror, pretty sexy if I do say so myself. I'm not necessarily a buff or scrawny guy, but I'm sort of the exact mix of both. Which apparently the girls I slept with hated, because they never called me back. Kind of glad that they didn't, they were all boring. No personality, no humor, just meaningless "Let's go back to your place".
It's nice to have someone like Chrissy, she sees me other than the "Devils Tango", and actually hangs with me for who I am.
Chrissy:
Instead of Eddie picking me up I decided to walk to his place for a surprise visit.
I clenched my fist and knocked on his door three times, no response.
"Eddie?" I said as I pressed my ear against the door. I figured he was still asleep so I barged the door open.
"Shit!" Eddie exclaimed as he tripped to the ground attempting to put pants on.
He was shirtless, revealing all of his tattoos that he'd talked about. I noticed he only had boxers on, causing me to look away.
"Oh my god Eddie I'm so sorry I thought-"
"No, no it's all good." He grunted, clearly still struggling.
My cheeks turned a blazing red as I noticed his current state. Messy hair, undressed, and him squirming on the ground. It was kinda cute.
"You need help dork?" I chuckled as I covered my mouth.
He finally zipped up his jeans and stood up in relief, letting out a big sigh.
"I got it , thanks." He laughed as he unfolded a MTV t-shirt, letting out a deep breath.
I observed his six-pack and quickly stopped myself when he put his shirt over it in one motion. He threw a denim jacket over it and grabbed some rings from his dresser.
"Uh, I'm just about done getting read-He paused.
Eddie:
I looked at Chrissy's body up and down as I placed another ring on. She was wearing a tight fitted Hellfire shirt and some baggy acid washed jeans. My eyes widened. I was high key flattered. I didn't expect her to have anything to do with Hellfire.
"Poser." I chuckled.
"Hey, at least I know who Vecna is, personally." She winked.
"Wow, already pulling out the death jokes, huh Cunningham?"
"They say humor is a way of healing. So is ice cream apparently."
Chrissy and I had yet another laughing session without even realizing. It could've been for seconds, minutes or even hours, but we wouldn't know. Time is endless here.
"Let's go, I have a plan for today." Said Chrissy.
