"Jiraiya, as you are here, I assume you've excepted my offer?" Ignoring the anbu, his attention was focused solely on the Sannin himself. With a tap of Danzo's cane, Fox teleported out of there and off to who knows where.

Eyeing where his ward stood, he turned to face the weasel "I have, under a few conditions of course"

"And those would be?"

"That I can use any method I deem fitting and that you keep your Anbu away while I train him."

That deceitful grin returned and he nodded.

"That can be arranged. I expect you to start this evening, I will send Fox to where your desired area is"

Jiraiya was shocked that he would allow for his conditions to be met. This whole ordeal rubbed him the wrong way. Like it was all too easy or something. He just doesn't like it.

He shouldn't have done this. He shouldn't have, he shouldn't have, he shouldn't have....

What will Lord Danzo say about this?! Or Lord Hiruzen? They won't be pleased... why did he let them down like this...

"Brat, why worry when they tortured you for years..." the ninetails grumbled. He was done with all the wining the brat does and how he goes on about 'Lord Danzo this' and 'Lord Hiruzen that'... all they've ever done is beat the brat senseless.

He doesn't care about his jailer, but he has to keep him alive for his plan to work.

"Don't disrespect the Lord's like this! This is all for the leafs interest!"

And there are the delusions he never misses. It doesn't matter what happens to the brat, or what happens to the leaf for that matter. But when he has the gall to stand up to the mighty Kurama then there's something he can't stand for.

Only Kushina ever did that and he killed her, so what the brat think will happen to him?

"Fox, they've requested that you meet them there" an anbu said before continuing on with whatever his duties are.

He knew this was coming, and he will deserve this for keeping them waiting and nearly ruining a mission over these 'feelings' that have come up.... like he thought.

He didn't dare speak. Even in the silence, he refused. What could he even say? They're his masters, he can't hide anything from them!

"Fox, take off your mask" why? He needs this mask, he's nothing without it. He's of no use without the mask "hurry up!" Hiruzen snapped and without a second wasted, he removed it.

The bags under his eyes have grown since last they looked at his face however many years ago that was. And his complexion is paler too... he looks incredibly sick to any civilian or low ranking shinobi but they know better.

These are the marks of a true shinobi, one that cares for their village of birth and for no others. The markings of an obedient soldier.

At least that's what they have him believe.

"Naruto, you are to begin training with Jiraiya starting today. This is where he would like you to meet him." Giving him a scroll, they watched every change in his expression.

The two of them know that his intelligence nearly challenges that of a Nara, they trained him after all!

However, that also means that they know his every weakness and flaw. Everything that can make or break him. Things that can leave him as fragile as shattered glass or as strong as a tailed beast.

And that is dangerous territory indeed.

Naruto looked like he was holding back  something he wanted to say, but they silently agreed not to give him such freedom.

No jinchuriki of the ninetails deserves any type of freedom after when it caused. Because the jinchuriki are weak and fragile things that let their emotions cloud judgement and create decisions for them. What useless things they are!

"Leave us" Hiruzen ordered and away Naruto teleported to where he needs to be.

Danzo also examined the face of his colleague and it was the same egotistical thing as ever. Nothing but pride in his expression and that scared him as always.

"He is breaking." Hiruzen began, voice full of disappointment.

Danzo knodded, but he already has a plan in mind if everything goes as he predicts it will. He just needs go be patient, that's all.

If the Sand does indeed attack the leaf then Naruto will be forced to take care of their jinchuriki, saving the Uchiha and angering him at same time.

The Uchiha brat won't stick around much longer and will leave with Orochimaru. Hirizen won't be pleased and then everything will fall into place.

He only needs one thing for this all to work. The death of the Hokage.
