The next morning everyone was getting ready for the day ahead. Arthur needed merlin's help to get ready for some reason unknown to Adira, 'maybe he's a simpleton' she thinks, then Morgana speaks up

"Have you still not learned how to dress yourself?"

"You don't have a dog and fetch the stick yourself."

"Did u just compare my brother to a dog" Adira asked him with a raised eyebrow.

"Uh, no offence, Merlin" he said trying to redeem himself.

"None taken" Merlin replied, laughing with his sister.

Hunith then walks into the room,

"Prince Arthur, you didn't finish your breakfast" she said kindly, passing him the bowl.

"Didn't I?" he asked with a painfully obvious fake smile on his face.

"Come on, eat up." Morgana said smirking, finding the situation funny; but Adira personally didn't think it was funny at all, for now though she decided to just walk away and ignore the ungrateful prince. She went outside and carried on from last night, helping some of the women learn to fight, knowing Arthur was probably just going to train the men like he said last night. Barely half an hour later she heard Arthur gather the men and begin training them, being very loud while doing it, so Adira moved her group further away, not wanting Arthur to see them and waste time trying to stop the women from fighting.

A couple of hours later she gave the women a well-deserved break and went over to where Gwen and Morgana were standing, sharpening swords.

"There's no way they're going to be able to hold Kanen off." Morgana says as Adira arrives.

"Men aren't the only ones who can fight." Gwen added making Adira smile.

"That's why I've been training some of the women on the other side of the village, perhaps you ladies would like to help, I'm sure your expertise could be very useful compared to my limited experience." She suggested, knowing Morgana and Gwen's help could improve the women's chances significantly. They both nodded smiling, glad to be of some real help rather than just sharpening swords. They finished up where they were and followed Adira to the other side of the village where the women were gathered again and spent the next few hours seeing some serious improvement in the women's skill, compared to before.

It was later in the day now and they figure now was as good a time as any to talk to Arthur to try and get him to see sense and let the women fight. Walking up to him, Morgana spoke up first,

"looks like the battle's already fought and lost" she said, subtly indicating to the group of men who looked like they were struggling.

"They'll toughen up"

"They need to." Gwen said seriously.

"How are we doing for weapons?" he interrupted, not wanting to hear what he already knows.

"There isn't much, but we should be able to scrape together what you need." Morgana said.

"It's not the weapons that worry us." Adira said, making Arthur turn to face her now, giving her his attention. "It's having enough people to use them. We think the women should be allowed to fight. You haven't enough men and the women we've been working with have just as much skill as the men, if not more. If them men were trained soldiers, you might stand a chance, but they're not"

"It's too dangerous—"

"Oh, don't bother with that bullshit, it's dangerous for everyone, not just the women. They have just as much right to fight for their homes as the men do; we need them if we want to win this." She said, shocking the other three with her outburst.
