Last thing you remember, you were hiking through a canyon, until you were attacked by a band of Team Chrome grunts. You were able to fend them off, then came face to face with a boy who had a riddle for you to solve. Then, much to your surprise, a scaly wing covers the sun and the canyon is filled with purple dust.

When you and your traveling companions wake up, you are somewhere else entirely. You're lying at the base of a mountain range, surrounded by jagged spires of obsidian and strangely dark rocks. A trail winds through the mountains, into a gigantic cave. The mountains are strange and twisted, creating an arch to blot out the sky and an eternal shadow. It's practically a giant cave, and it's impossible to fly. Dark pokémon have a slight advantage here, and the "path" is filled with dark and rock type Pokémon. The high altitude makes it hard to breathe, but somehow, you must find way to trudge on.

But the path seems to change at a moment's notice, and it will take everything you have learned not to get trapped in an endless labyrinth. With the help of Pokémon and companions, you might just be able to make it through...

It's your job to convince the others whether or not to proceed; or perhaps you will disband from your group to find your own way?

Role-play below.

Possible Pokémon catch types: Discolored/ minor mutations/ faded

I also wanted to include a full guide for all Pokémon types, just for future reference.

Mutated - A Pokémon of any stage in evolution, who experience growths or mutations (extra wings, heads, tails, etc.) from the time of birth. They are generally affected by toxins or terrain, and mutation is determined by the state of the egg during incubation. Parent Pokémon do not have to be mutated for this to be possible, but it is near impossible for a mutated Pokémon to produce a non-mutated one.

Mutilated - A Pokémon generally in a later stage of evolution, missing certain limbs or with large unhealed scars. Mutilation occurs when a Pokémon is injured and exposed to radiation or toxins, to the point where the scar or wound refuses to heal. Very rarely, in extreme conditions of radiation, the limb may regrow in a reformed manner. Parent Pokémon do not determine the outcome, but a Mutilated Pokémon will most likely always produce a Mutilated or Mutated Pokémon.

Discolored - A Pokémon with odd discoloration. One of the parent Pokémon must also de Discolored, and the type of the other will affect the Pokémon type outcome. A Discolored Pokémon and an Armored one will produce a Pokémon with both of those characteristics. Discolored Pokémon do not appear to have any powers or abilities, though some say they are more resistant to temperature.

Enhanced - A Pokémon with heightened intelligence, hearing, sight, smell, feeling, taste, or any combination of the given characteristics. Enhanced Pokémon are quite rare, and it is impossible to determine where one will appear. Parents and location seem to have no affect, but some are convinced they are more common if hatched around the time of a full or new moon.

Entranced - A seemingly mindless Pokémon, often following behind or doing the bidding of a Pokémon it sees as a leader or superior. They will sometimes even go into a state of brainwashed obedience, and are sometimes taken advantage of to do the bidding of humans. In some instances they will become attached to a certain object instead of another creature, and it will become an idol for them. They will usually be a large group of the same species.

Faded - A Pokémon who spends most of their lives in a dark place, generally devoid of sunlight. They have exceptional eyesight and are even believed to be able to see movement in the form of colors. This theory is often denied since most Faded appear to be color blind, and have been known to shrivel strangely in sunlight. They do not react well to relocation, and are not a popular choice for trainers. A Faded it determined by where it is when it hatches, as well as its habitat.

Armored - An intelligent Pokémon who spends most of its young life collecting scraps of metal and such to create itself a shell of armor. They are commonly fire-type Pokémon, who have the means to melt and re-fashion armor. Parents are not a determining factor, and more often than not Armored Pokémon are loners who spend most of their lives wandering about to find the perfect pieces of metal. Losing any piece is like losing a part of themselves.

Resistant - A Pokémon who has a strong resistance to one type is would have originally been weak to. It is stronger varying from Pokémon to Pokémon, ranging from completely resistant to only slightly. Electricity-proof water Pokémon and Fire-proof grass Pokémon are very common, while Dragon-proof dragon Pokémon are extremely rare and hard to come by. Two slightly resistant parent Pokémon will produce a strongly resistant Pokémon and so on.

Robotic - A Pokémon with manmade parts, usually one raised in captivity or by a human. Any faulty limbs (Mutilated or mutated Pokémon are often converted to be more useful because of their original strength and survival skills) are replaced with robotic parts, more often than not designed to blend in with the rest of the Pokémon. Wild robotics are almost always ones that have been abandoned, and are not determined by parent Pokémon. They are sometimes used in betting fights or by grunts.

Rapturous - A Pokémon of extreme power and hierarchy, who conduct minor forms of telepathy to control smaller Pokémon to do their bidding. They almost never are without a crowd of entranced, and a Rapturous have the power to choose how mindless or sentient their follower Pokémon are. They are always alone or solitary, seemingly detached. They are hard to come by as they are extremely territorial and will fight each other to the death, usually living in secluded places.
