Chapter 2 Maria POV

I am eating lunch in my office with Steve when I get Natasha's call.

"Hey Nat, what do you need?"

"Maria guess what!!" The Russian replied excitedly.

"I don't know but keep in mind that Captain Rogers is currently in here, so keep it clean." I said smirking, knowing it would annoy Steve.

"I'm not a little kid Maria I can handle it." The super soldier said as he reclined back on the couch in my office.

"Well anyway," Nat continued, "Stark gave you a week off. Phil also gave me and Melinda one, so I decided that us three including Pepper are going to have a girls week at Avengers Tower. Pepper told me it will be fine since Tony is on a business trip for two weeks."

"Natasha you know that I have a lot of work to do, I'm really busy with work. I don't have time for a vacation."

"Too bad, you're coming even if I have to drag you."

"Maria you should go, it'll be good for you." Steve said.

"Yeah, listen to your boyfriend, if you can be separated from him that long."

I felt annoyance flood through me at Natasha's words. She would not stop trying to get me and Steve together.

"I...we aren't...uh..no", Steve stuttered.

"What about Clint? Can YOU be be separated from him that long?"

"Clint's on a mission for three weeks, so are you coming or not?" The woman said in exasperation.

"Ugh, fine on one condition." I answered, I had a great idea forming.

"Yea anything, what is it?"

"You call Coulson and get him to let Simmons, Skye, and Bobbi to come too."

"Okay see you Thursday at the tower. Bye Maria bye Steve."

"You're up to something, what is it?" Steve said as soon as I hung up.

"Simmons is a biochemist, and I'm pretty sure she just finished making a truth serum." I said smugly.

"That's not going to end well you know, Nat will find out and use it on you or something."

"Its nothing I can't handle, you know." I argued.

We finished our lunch in silence.

Sorry it took so long I couldn't figure out how to end it. I'll probably post the next chapter tomorrow.
