Chapter 4: Jemma's POV

Sorry it took so long guys!! I was at camp and I didn't have wifi. but I'll be able to update more often. In my story Laura Barton doesn't exist, and neither do her kids.

As I look up at the Avengers Tower I am filled with excitement. Fitz and I have always wanted to come here together. I wish he was here, after the events in the ocean we have been a little awkward. I wish things could go back to normal.

I pick up my bag that I had packed for the week. " You know, I've been here before! It was under different circumstances though." Skye said laughing. May and Bobbi just rolled their eyes and walked into the tower.

I walk in the building and immediately here a squeal. I see a streak of red fly past me. Natasha jumps onto May and gives her a huge hug.

"I'm so glad you guys came." She said as she turns to look at us. "It's an honor to meet you in person. I've heard so many stories about you!" I say gushing. I can't hide my excitement.

"It's nice to meet you too." she replied smiling. "Maria and Pepper are already in their rooms, I'll show you where yours are. We didn't know if some of you were actually coming, so unless one of you wants to sleep on a different floor two of you will have to share a room."

"If Skye doesn't care, I wouldn't mind sharing with her." I said smiling. "I'd love too." Skye squealed and ran to hug me.

"Okay let's go to the rooms." Natasha said as she walked towards the elevator.

We rode up, and I lost track of the floors. We stepped out into a living room. We walked through the the room and at the other end was a bar and a kitchen area.

"So this is where we will probably be spending most of our time." Natasha said. " lets go find Pepper and she can show you your rooms." As soon as she said that a woman walked into the room. "Hello, I'm Pepper if you didn't already know that." She greeted with a warm smile. "I'll take you too you rooms now."

She turned around and led us past the kitchen and into a hallway. There were six doors in the hallway. " This is my room," Pepper said a she gestured to a room on the left. "Natasha, then Maria." those rooms were also on the left side. "On the far right, is Melinda then Bobbi, and I here you two are sharing?"

"Oh yes, Agent Romanoff told us there weren't enough rooms, so we agreed to share." I replied happily. "Feel free to call me Natasha." she said smiling.

"Well then you two will be the first door on the right, I'll let you guys settle in, lunch will be at 12:30 or so." Pepper said and entered her room.

Skye was hopping up and down, "Lets go, Lets go!" She said as she pulled me towards the door.

As soon as the door opened we both gasped. The room was huge! There were two queen sized beds, two dressers, and a huge tv. I set down my bags on the closest bed, "I call this one!" I turned around and walked into the bathroom, it was huge, and had a large bathtub and a shower. Off to the side there was a huge walk-in closet.

" I can't believe we get to stay here for a week!" Skye exclaimed.

Sorry for the abrupt ending, but I wasn't sure how to end it. Im going to a family reunion, so I won't have wifi from Friday to Sunday, but I will update as soon as I get back! Love y'all😘
