Natsu's POV

"Who are you...?"

What do you mean 'who are you?' It's me Natsu, she does remember doesn't she? I'm her best friend! We've been through so much together. I can't have her not remember me. This can't be happening. Luce you have to be joking right? Right?!

Lucy's POV

"Who are you...?" I say to the boy who just walked in.

Then all of a sudden he tackle hugs me and begins to cry. "Luce...thank God you're awake. I've missed you so much."

"Um excuse me? You haven't answered my question. Who are you and what are you doing here?" I ask trying not to sound rude. "Lucy...it's me Natsu...I'm your best friend. Do you really not remember me?" The boy Natsu says. "Lucy...is that my name? I'm sorry I can't remember you. I don't even know who I am." I tell the boy with pink hair.

Pink, that looks awfully familiar. I remember pink but nothing else. Maybe his hair is what I remember? Maybe I should ask?

Natsu's POV

"Lucy...is that my name? I'm sorry I can't remember you. I don't even know who I am." Luce says honestly.

She doesn't remember who she is? Of course she wouldn't know who I am! Also, I know this could no longer be a joke. When Luce lies her eyes get bigger and she turns away and makes lots of hand motions. She didn't do that this time. Luce really has forgotten everything, well I think everything. Maybe I should ask if she remembers anything?

"Yes your name is Lucy. Your full name is Lucy Heartfilia. I call you Luce though." I say trying to help her. "Oh ok, so I'm Lucy and your Natsu, my best friend?" Lucy asks. "yes that's correct, also you belong to a wizard guild called Fairy Tail. That's what the mark on your right hand stands for." She then looks down at her hand and frowns. "What's wrong Luce...that's your home. Don't you want to see everyone?" I ask worried. "Yeah I want to, but I don't know who I am or who my family is. I don't think I could go back." Lucy says, sad she is telling me this. "What do you mean? Luce you belong at Fairy Tail, you're a celestial wizard. You belong with us at Fairy Tail. Won't you just come and see if you can remember us? Please, will you just try?" I beg her to come I can't just leave her. "Natsu I'll come, but I can't guarantee I'll stay." Lucy says calmly. "Ok Luce that's fine just please, try." "Ok I will let me get dressed and eat real fast then I'll come." Luce finishes then turns to get ready.

Lucy's POV

I send Natsu out of my room so I can get ready. I look into my closest and find an adorable outfit. It's a white shirt with a blue cross and blue skirt. I put on some makeup and try and figure out what to do with my hair. In one of my drawers in the bathroom, I find a blue ribbon and put my hair in a side pony. Then I grab a brown belt, put my keys and whip on it, since their my protection. Finally I put on black knee high boots. I take one last look in the mirror and smile.

I don't know why, but this outfit makes me feel right at home. I hope no one judges me for it.

"Natsu I'm ready, did you fix me some food?" I call hungry, since I haven't ate in over a year. Then all Natsu does is stare at me. "Um Natsu is everything ok?" I ask since he seems lost. "Yeah I'm fine Luce, it's just that's the exact same outfit you wore when we first met that's all." Natsu says.

I can't believe he remembered such a small detail. I wish I could remember him, he seems so nice and kind. I wonder how close we really were.

"Is that so, must be natural instinct I guess." I say then sit down to eat the waffles Natsu prepared. "Hey Lucy, I'll be outside when you're done just come out ok?" Natsu says then quickly turns outside.

I finish my meal quickly so I don't keep him waiting then go outside to ask one last question. "Hey um Natsu, can I ask you a question." I say. "Yes of course, shoot." Natsu says eager to answer. "Well, you see when I was asleep I saw something. I think it's related to you." I say trying not to sound too weird. "What Luce, did you remember something?" Natsu asks quickly. "So when I was sleeping I saw something pink. I want to know if you know why." I ask quite shyly. I don't know why, but when I'm near him, I can't help but be drawn in. "Pink...well I don't know why you saw pink, but I could help you figure it out. Lets see...what was this pink like?" Natsu asks trying to help me remember. "It was soft and flowing, it looked an awful lot like your um hair." I say then point to his pretty hair. "My hair? Well are you sure it wasn't my hair. You used to touch it a lot. You always said it was soft." Natsu finished. "Oh well when I saw it, your hair I mean, I just remembered this feeling." "What feeling?" Natsu asks curiously. "Like I knew you. All too well and that you were someone I knew. Then when you told me we were best friends, I just remembered pink." I say finishing my thought. "Oh well that's strange, but I'm glad that you remembered at least a piece of me Luce." Natsu says with a hint of blush. "You're welcome I guess. Say Natsu when are we getting to the guild?" I ask curious as to when we will get there. "We're here Luce." Natsu says. "Really where...?

Then I look up and see a huge banner that had a sign that seemed so familiar. Fairy Tail.
