Chapter 4: Rameses and Moses

Holy mother of God! It was Moses who spoke, the actual Moses! This can kind of Moses looked exactly the same just like in the movie, you know, wearing gold, sandals, a wig, and so on. He was kinda good looking from up close. But Y/N would not fall in love with him. After all, his true love was a feisty woman named Zipporah.

"T-Thank you... I nearly gave up there."

"No problem. I'm Moses, the second prince. Who are you? I did see you running away from our guards and I will confess, I was surprised seeing you because of your hair and eyes. I had never as them this light before. It makes... you really beautiful." Did Moses just compliment her?

Y/N couldn't help but blush. "T-Thanks, Moses."

Suddenly, there were a pair of footsteps heard running and Y/N was in fear for a second before looking and seeing another familiar figure running. It was Rameses and boy, was he very handsome! He also half-naked like Moses over here because their chests were showing. "Moses, I'm he-" He stopped when he noticed Y/N and he couldn't help but stare in awe. "Woah..."

"I know, Rameses! She is different. I complimented her beauty. She's also very kind," Moses responded with his usual cocky smirk.

Y/N couldn't help but laugh a bit, causing Rameses to blush because her laugh sounded like an angel. Ok, he just met her. Even though he's in awe of her appearance, he knew by his heart that she was a kindhearted one.

Moses smirked once and nudged her. "How about you take her to a chariot race? She might enjoy it."

Rameses looked at Moses as if he were crazy. "Are you crazy? She might get hurt!"

"But you will take care of her, right?" Moses wanted to get his brother and Y/N together.

"Of course!" Rameses looked determined, which made Y/N's heart melt.

Moses then forgot something. "Oh! Rameses, this is Y/N. She was running away from the guards when I noticed her. Y/N, this is my brother and heir to the throne, Rameses."

Before Y/N could even greet the prince, she was caught off guard seeing Rameses angry. Why was he angry? "Did the guards hurt her?" He was stern.

Moses waved his hands dismissively fast. "Wow wow wow! Calm down! She's not hurt! See?"

Y/N gently placed her hand on Rameses' shoulder, causing him to stiff from being angry. He looked into her eyes and was calm. But why? It could take Rameses some time to calm down when being angry. He was the future pharaoh and he got that instinct from his own father, Set I. Why were male pharaohs harder than female ones? Seti's wife, Tuya, was the queen and the mother of the boys, adopted mom to Moses. She was also strict but was easygoing and careful.

"Please calm down, Rameses. I am well. Thank you for your concern." She then bowed.

"Please don't bow. No formalities." Rameses helped her up.

Y/N smiled, causing Rameses' heart to speed up again. Why, though? "Alright."
