Chapter 8: Moses Ran

Y/N had been taking a walk outside of the palace as she decided to take some fresh air. However, since that Rameses was the new Pharoah, he commanded one of the guards to go with her since he believed that there might be a huge danger outside if Y/N was alone. But ever since his coronation, he was changing. Rameses was changing. How should I put it? He was ruling slowly with an iron fist. For now, he was fine but you can just see how Hotep and Huy were manipulating him into being an evil hard-headed Pharaoh of Egypt.

Well, Moses wasn't there at the coronation, which was strange. Rameses was his step-brother, older. Now, Seti wasn't there for the coronation since he was dead but what about Tuya? When Y/N glanced at her face, she noticed how sad she was. The poor queen was truly depressed...

Y/N shook her head at the memory as she entered the palace walls. She turned toward the guard and waved her hand, meaning that he was dismissed. The guard nodded and turned to walk away. 

Just as the guard was out of sight, Y/N was about to walk back to her room to at least continue with her studies when she heard running footsteps towards her, causing her to turn her head towards the sound when she got nearly a heart attack when someone hugged her and felt sweet tears on her shoulder area of her white silk dress. It was Rameses and he was sobbing, even though he was a pharaoh. They were seen as mighty gods and goddesses but they had to be seen as strong for the folks. They could be releasing feelings in secret. Who knows. 

"R-Rameses! What happened..." Her voice went soft as she held a crying Rameses in her arms. 

That's when she learned the truth. Even though she was shocked by what she heard. She knew that the movie showed the clip of him but what you may ask?

"M-Moses... He ran away into the desert."
