INDIGO STEWART stood in her room with shock written all over her face.
her eyes wide mouth agape and hands shaking.
"yo inds you kn-what happend?" matt asks grasping her shoulders.
they didn't make up, i mean they never do out of a fight. no one apologizes or anything they just continue you know hating each other but out loud.
"i just..." she gasps.
"i just got a phone call from taylor swift." she tells him, the boy laughs, but he looks to her face.
"oh my god your serious." he gasped out loud.
"this- is- what the hell!" matt screams.
"i! don't! know!" she screams back.
"what the fuck!" the two yell in unison.
"what- what did she want i mean what!" matt asks loudly.
"she asked me if i could star in her short film, all too well ten minute version." she tells him in utter shock.
"what!" he screams and with that her feet where off the floor when the boy picks her up wrapping his arms around her.
"this is amazing!" he screams hugging her tighter.
"i cant believe this." she mumbles as he sets her down.
then it hits her while looking up at him.
"i'm gonna star in a taylor swift short film!" indigo screams jumping right back into his arms and wrapping her legs around him.
matt lost balance as they fall onto the bed still hugging and giggling.
the two twist in turn until they where both laying on their backs and looking at the ceiling.
they sigh in sync and in silence.
the quiet took over the small room, but it was comfortable, indie and matt both where digesting what just happened.
but of course as always, matthew sturniolo ruins the relaxation with something to ruin the smiles.
"inds." he calls still looking up with his hands on his stomach.
"hm?"
"can i ask you a question?"
"shoot."
he took a small breath before asking.
"how come you don't look at yourself in the mirror." the boy asks, and that question made indigo jump slightly as a gulp went down her throat.
"okay fine what're you doing now?" she laughs trying to move on.
"i'm asking you a question." he clears.
she thought he was messing with her.
"besides when your editing the videos, you don't like looking at yourself." matthew mutters to her.
she closed her eyes in disgust.
"you never look at yourself in the mirror, you comb your hair with your back to the mirror." he continues, her heart shreds was it that obvious.
"and i see you brush your teeth."
"you look down the whole time." matt informed like she didn't already know.
indies fingers start to twitch.
she shrugged like it was a stupid question.
and then he says something that makes her heart drop to her stomach.
"your sweaters inside out, did you know that?" matt says.
she paused her eyes averting to the tag that was supposed to be hidden on the side.
"did you see that in the mirror this morning?"
she bites her lip to stop from crying.
why? why? why?
why did he have to bring this up? why after such amazing news?
why does he care so fucking much?
"why're you bringing this up matt." she grits.
"you think your worthless dont you?" the boy ignores her question.
she stayed quiet.
"is that why you said what you said the other night?" the girl turned to him.
now it was her turn to stay quiet.
"so what you say this-" she was cut off when christopher slams the door open with a smile.
"we're twitching!" and with that he left.
indie gets up looking to matt once more before walking out the room him running after.
