(Jay's POV)
"I'm not interested, Jay."
"I'm not interested, Jay."
"I'm not interested, Jay!"
"I'm not interested, Jay!"
Nya's words kept repeating in my head. She had only said it once, but it wouldn't leave my brain.
I didn't have an appetite, just poking at my dinner. My heart stung too much to eat. I didn't know what else to do with my love.
Okay, fine, comment on how overdramatic I am.
Yes, I know you're reading this.
Anyway, my world burned down as her words taunted me. Was it so wrong for me to wish for her love?
Great, I sound like Kai after he got rejected.
Nya's the first one that truly caught my attention. She's just so amazing with her short black hair, stunning eyes, and how strong and stubborn she is. How could I not resist her?
"Are you going to eat?" Cole's voice cut through my thoughts.
"Huh?"
"I asked if you were going to eat. Cause, if not, could I have it?"
I pushed my plate towards him. "Go ahead. I'm not hungry."
Cole didn't question it and dug right into my food, his plate sparkling clean. I tilted my head a little, watching him consume food faster than I've ever seen him.
After staring- er- looking at Cole for a little while, I looked around at the rest of the table. Kai was goofing around with Nya as Zane tried to stop them. Lloyd and Senasi Wu ate normally.
I sighed to myself and sipped my water. Maybe it was time for me to move on from Nya and try to figure myself out more than what I have now.
Hopefully I can. Nya's just so amazing and she lives with me.
But, it's time for me to move on. She's not interested in me. I need to accept that.
