You caught up to Eddie who was sitting on a stump.

"Hey, you okay?" You walked up to him, sitting on the ground next to him. "I just feel like the group doesn't trust me, well except for you and Dustin." You felt bad for Eddie, "I'm sure they believe you, just...give them some time." Eddie glanced over at you and moved over so you weren't sitting on the bare ground, you took up on the offer and sat next to him on the stump. "Look, I know you didn't kill Chrissy, I mean who'd kill someone like that?" You chucked, trying to cheer him up. His shoulders slumped more, obviously not wanting to hear more about Chrissy. "Wrong time, sorry-" You put a hand on Eddie's leg. "Look, my point is they just gotta know you before they judge you." You smiled at Eddie, and his gaze softened as he started at you.

"I guess you're right. They shouldn't judge us before they get to know us. I mean I get called Eddie 'the freak' Munson for liking a game.." You frowned. "I used to get made fun of for shutting myself out from the world by listening to music. I normally do it after arguing with my mom.." You sighed and looked up at the star-filled sky. "In fact I feel like I could do the same thing right now." Eddie didn't keep his gaze off of you. You could see him out of the corner of your eye and you felt a blush creep on your face.

Eddie cleared his throat, "I guess we should go back to the group huh?" You nodded and up and started walking while Eddie caught up with you guys. You suddenly stopped and turned to him. You wrapped your arms around Eddie, pulling into a hug, Eddie stood stuff for a bit before easing into it, eventually hugging you back. "I'm sorry for how you feel that the rest of us don't believe you.." You muttered. Eddie nodded and pulled away. "Let's go back." You nodded and smiled.

"There you lovebirds are!" Robin called out as the rest of the gang turned to you guys, you felt blush creep up on you again at her comment. Steve had a hand on his hip and seemed like he was jealous or something. "We decided next time we go to the Upside Down we'll be more prepared!" Dustin told you and Eddie, you both nodded.

After a few minutes of talking, you guys eventually started walking back to the shed to say goodbye to Eddie for the night. When you guys arrived Eddie opened the door and entered the shed. Everyone said goodbye and walked out but you decided to stay for a bit. You looked at Eddie who was finished the cereal in the box. "Eddie, again, I'm sorry that you think nobody believes you about the whole situation so far." Eddie glanced over at you. "It's okay.." He said with his mouth full, you chucked. "Well then, I'll see you tomorrow!" You called out to Eddie as you walked away to the exit of the shed. "Goodnight Y/N!" Eddie called out as you walked out. You couldn't help but smile to yourself, Eddie was really growing on you.

You were staring at the ceiling of your room, with music blasting from your headphones, you were thinking about someone. Thinking about Eddie. You were really worried about him, more than Steve, Nancy and Robin when they didn't come up from the water for some time. You stared at your hands, "Am I...catching feelings for him?" You said aloud which you meant to say in your thoughts, but it didn't matter, you were by yourself. You dragged your hands up to face and groaned. You didn't want to be in-love with someone, not yet, at least. Not with what's going on so far!

You eventually curled up and stared at your door, music still blasting, but not as loud this time. You needed time to think about this, what if you grew to attached to this new found crush and someone happened to Eddie? You shut yourself up from under the covers and slowly drifted off to sleep.
