(This story is based on the Glam Rock Freddy is actually Michael Afton theory. Also, if certain parts of the story don't match up with the game's lore deal with it lmao.)
1983
This year was known as the most traumatic year of your life. You were only a child back then—a child who didn't have many friends, except for one, Michael Afton. You honestly had no idea why the two of you became such good friends. He would always pretend not to care about you in front of his friends, but in reality, he always enjoyed spending time with you. You were also pretty close to his little brother, Evan. He was always getting picked on by Michael, but at the time, you just thought of it as a harmless joke. Though deep down, you felt bad for the kid.
It was his birthday party. For some reason, Evan was terrified of Fredbear's Family Diner. This was very odd considering he loved Freddy and his friends! He owned all the plushies and watched all the cartoons! So why was he so afraid of the diner? As usual, Michael and his friends were picking on him. The poor kid was crying, clearly scared out of his mind. They lifted Evan off the ground and brought him closer to the yellow Freddy animatronic. The poor kid looked traumatized, but again, this was all just a harmless joke to you. You could never get the memory of what happened erased from your mind. All you could think about was the sound of Evans's head being crushed by the jaw of that animatronic. After all of that, it was all a blur. You remember hearing screaming and the sound of an ambulance and having no idea what was going on. After that day, you and Michael became very distant. After what had happened, he would not stop blaming himself for Evans's death. And again, at the time, you were far too young to understand what Michael was going through and how to comfort him. So eventually, you stopped seeing each other and went your separate ways.
As you grew older, You wondered what Michael was up to. You became more mature and you realized that you should have checked in more with him when he was grieving. So you thought 'Hey, better late than never!' And decided to look for him. You tried looking him up on Facebook but had no luck. Then you decided to look up his parents. But no matter how long you searched their profiles, you couldn't find anything about Michael's whereabouts! By now you were feeling like one hell of a stalker, but it was for good reason! The only thing you can really find were rumors about the missing children cases surrounding William Afton, the co-owner of the company, but everyone already knows about that stuff by now. After a while, you gave up. You thought 'it was such a long time ago! He has probably forgotten about me by now!' Plus, it would be super awkward if you just showed up at his house for no reason. What would you even say? "Hey! I am your old childhood friend and I stalked you online so I could follow you home out of the blue. Let's chat!" And with that, you've given up and life moved on.
And now here you stood in front of the Fazbear's Pizzaplex. It's been quite a while since you stepped foot here. In your early teens, maybe 6 years ago. Back then there was Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, and Foxy. But apparently, Bonnie and Foxy have been replaced by new animatronics. You're just glad that Freddy and Chica were still there. Especially, Freddy. He's always been your favorite. Mostly because of what took place around 6 years ago.
You were in your early teens and you were forced to go to a birthday party for one of your cousins. You didn't want to be there, but you were forced to come anyways. For multiple reasons, one was because you were still traumatized about what happened the last time you went to a birthday party at a Fazbear location. But also, you just wanted to stay in your room and not have to deal with screaming little kids. Without letting anybody know, you went to the bathroom and by the time you got back, everyone was gone. Here you were, lost and alone in a giant pizzaplex crowded with people, you were terrified. You just wanted to go home and get away from all the noise and all the people looking at you, it was too much to bear! You ran into a random room and started to cry. "I never asked to come here! I just want to go home!"
"Excuse me, my friend, are you lost"
With the sudden loud voice, you jumped a bit and looked up to see the one and only Glamrock Freddy standing over you looking down at you with worried eyes.
"I...um.....well" You stuttered. You were overwhelmed with sadness, fear, and confusion.
"Don't worry, my friend, I can bring you back to your family! Please hold still for a moment. " He then proceeded to scan your face with his weird eye lasers because that's apparently something he could do. "Hmmm. Alright. Hello there, y/n! Follow me, I will take you back to your family." He spoke cheerfully while offering his hand to you.
"N-no!" You yelled. Freddy jumped a little bit and was visibly confused by your sudden outburst.
"B-but don't you want to see your family? They must be so worried about you superstar!" He said with genuine care and concern.
"I don't want to come back to them! They probably didn't even notice that I'm gone! I never wanted to come here I just wanted to be alone..." You said while trying to hold back a sob.
"Superstar... I-I am so sorry. May I ask why you had to come here?" He asked with genuine concern.
"My parents forced me to come here for my little cousin's birthday party. I didn't want to come, but they made me! I'd rather be alone than with a bunch of annoying kids.."
"I'm so sorry that this happened to you, Superstar. Is there anything I could do to make you feel better? Or maybe, you'd like me to leave you alone?" Something about the way that Freddy talked to you was...odd. You understood that Freddy could have been programmed to comfort crying children, but the way he comforted you was so, human-like. You swore that when you looked into his eyes that you could see a real person looking back at you. The more you looked into his eyes, the safer you felt. You just wanted to climb into those bright gentle eyes and stay there forever.
"Can you um...stay with me for awhile?" You regretted the words the moment they came out of your mouth. 'He's a children's animatronic you idiot! In a giant pizzaplex filled with children! There's no way that he would be able to spend time with me.' Before you could say 'nevermind', Freddy put his hand on your shoulder and said,
"Of course Superstar. I'm not going anywhere." The moment he said this you became overwhelmed with a new range of emotions than the previous. Excitement, joy, and... something else that you could not quite explain.
(This will be the best day EVER!)
