Long Time No See Old Friend! (Glamrock Freddy x Reader)

Ch. 14 Lights on!

Though the Daycare wasn't that far from where you were, it took you a very long time to get there because of all the sneaking around you had to do. You were constantly trying to avoid the S.T.A.F.F Bots and the animatronics trying to kill you. Finally, you arrived outside of the Daycare. It was more convenient for you to head over to the slide entrance to the daycare instead of the main doors. Before you could head over to the slide, Freddy stopped you with a hand on your shoulder.

"(y/n). I am unable to go into the Daycare with you. Are you sure you want to go through with this?" You thought about it for a moment. After all, how are you going to protect yourself without Freddy? "If Sundrop is also out to get you, then you can take the security badge from the front desk and run out the main doors. Then I can meet you there." You thought about it again and then gave him your answer.

"Okay, I'll do it." You replied and made your way towards the slide. You turned your head to face Freddy so you could give him a wave goodbye before going down the slide. The slide ended and you fell into the ball pit. You trudged your way through the ball pit and jumped in surprise by a sudden voice coming from above. You looked up and saw Sundrop on top of the balcony.

"Hooo hooo hoo!" Sundrop shouted before taking a nosedive into the ball pit below. You were pretty sure by his behavioral patterns that he wasn't out to get you like the other animatronics. Even though you are very well acquainted with Sundrop, him being under the ball pit that you were in made you feel uneasy. You walked forward trying to push down that uneasiness just to be jumpscared by Sundrop lifting you up. "(y/n)! It's you! What are you doing here so late?! Are we having a slumber party?!" He lifted you out of the ball pit and placed you on the ground.

"Hey, Sunny! I'm just here to make sure that you're doing okay." You said while trying to calm your heart down.

"I-Is that all?! Can't you at least stay for a little while?!" He said while giving you the robotic equivalent of puppy dog eyes.

"Sorry, Sunny there's something going on with the rest of the animatronics. For some reason, Chica, Roxy, and Monty are out to get me! The only ones that are not out for me so far are you and Freddy. After this, I have to pay a visit to DJ music man to see if he's okay too." Sundrop looked down and thought for a moment.

"W-why would they want to harm you?! You're like the nicest person I know!" Sundrop asked frantically. You were very flattered by this statement.

"I-I don't know. My guess is that they have a bug in their program or something. That's why I need to make sure I know which animatronics are functioning like normal and which ones aren't so I can report it to my boss in the morning." You explained. "I need to grab a security card from the security desk and leave soon." You scanned the area and found what appeared to be the desk and begin walking towards it.

"Friend, this area is o-off-limits! You're going to get us in trouble..." You looked back at Sundrop, confused.

"Sunny, you know I work here right?"

"B-but only the security guard is allowed at that desk!" 'Vanessa' Just thinking of her name makes your blood boil. Sunny noticed that your demeanor started to change when you mentioned the security guard, but he did not say anything. You went behind the security desk and you noticed Sundrop getting a little nervous. You found what appeared to be the security card and reached for it.

"B-but you have plenty of time, right? Can you please stay longe-" Before he could finish what he was saying, the lights went out. You pulled back your hand holding the security card in shock. You quickly thought back to your first day on the job. You remembered how Sundrop panicked when you mentioned his counterpart, Moondrop.

"So what about Moondrop? Does Moondrop work in the daycare with you too? If so, I can't wait to meet them!"

"N-NO!" Sundrop yelled while panicked. This caused you to jump up in surprise. "er...I mean uh. M-Moon is...well um..." Sun looked away for a moment, choosing his words carefully. "You won't have to worry about meeting him as long as you keep the lights ON!"

'Does this mean, I'm going to meet Moon?'

"No NO! Lights on! Lights on! Stay away! Please! R...u..n!" Sundrop was struggling to speak and his voice started to turn into a growl. You couldn't bear to look at him struggling to hold Moon back. You did exactly what he asked and you ran away into the opposite direction from the security desk. You heard him collapse and you looked behind you and saw what appeared to be Moondrop rising from where Sunny colasped. He had glowing red eyes and made your skin crawl.

"Naughty...Naughty...It's past your bedtime...You must be punished!" He growled then proceeded to jump up into the air as if he were flying. He was suspended in the air with a hook on the ceiling and proceeded to scan the area of your whereabouts as you ran away. You quickly ran to the nearest jungle gym to hide. Once you found your hiding place, you sat down against the jungle gym wall and tried to calm down your panicked breath. You heard a sound coming from your watch that made you jump. It was Freddy!

"(y/n), I do not know what you did, but the lights are out in the Daycare! You need to find the emergency backup generators and turn them on. They are in the play structures." Your mind was racing.

"I thought you said that if I can get the security badge I could just run out the door!" You whisper-yelled.

"I am so sorry, superstar. I didn't take into account the possibility of the lights turning out in the Daycare. The lights going out also affects the doors locking system. I'm afraid the only way to get out is to turn on the generators. I am so sorry..." You can hear a strong sound of regret in his voice.

"It's okay, Freddy this wasn't your fault." It was so dark in the play structure that you were thankful you brought a flashlight. You were also glad that it was easy to sense Moon's whereabouts because of the loud mechanical sounds that come from him. You slowly made your way through the jungle gym you were in and stumbled upon what looked to be a generator. You flipped the switch on it then the light turned green. 'That's one, four more to go'.
