Ch. 8 The Tour

You finished your maintenance check on Sundrop and sent him on his way. You took a mental note to visit the daycare whenever you had time. Familiar heavy footsteps caught your attention. You looked up to see Freddy...alone.

"Hey, Freddy! Where's the next animatronic for me to work on? It says that I have one left." You asked.

"Um. Actually, superstar. The last animatronic cannot come to Parts and Services. You have to do the maintenance check with him in person." You stared at him, confused. "Also, I haven't gotten around to cleaning my room. I was thinking that I could give you directions via your FazWatch while I cleaned my room. Then by the time you're done, I could give you a tour of the facility." You checked your watch. It was 7:18 am. You thought that it would be really nice to get a tour of the facility. After all, your mind couldn't comprehend how massive this place was.

"Alright! That sounds like a plan."

The two of you split up and went your separate ways. Meanwhile, Freddy was giving you instructions through your watch. As you were listening to his directions, you noticed that this was around where the Fazcade was in. You remembered all those times in the Fazcade. This was where you won that Freddy plush that you cherish oh so much. As you walked to your destination, you checked your checklist on your watch, and that's when you noticed there were special instructions for this DJ Music Man guy. You could have sworn that they weren't there before. Then again, you were really distracted by all the events that took place earlier today. You're pretty sure that your heart hasn't had to deal with that much stress in a long time. One of the instructions that you found was telling you that you were required to do your maintenance check from the back of the animatronics head. It also said for you to be careful not to fall because DJ music man tends to move around a lot. 'Try not to fall...? What the hell does that mean?!' You quickly brushed that thought aside and kept going towards your destination. Finally, thanks to Freddy's help, you arrived at your destination. You walked into a room for a couple steps and looked around. You looked over to your left and immediately had a heart attack(not literally of course). There, you saw an animatronic so big that it could definitely crush you to death with its fingertip with no effort at all. You looked back at the list and re-read that one line of instruction. 'Back of his head...try not to fall. Oh no.' You walked to the side of him to get a better view of what you'd have to stand on in order to do your maintenance check. It appeared that the thing you would have to stand on was his neck, which is a rod that is about the same width, maybe slightly wider as your head. You swallowed hard. 'This is how I'm going to die.' You slowly walked towards the nightmare spider robot until you were directly in front of him. He seemed to not notice your presence. he was too busy ~vibing~.

"Um, hello? DJ Music Man?" You waved both your hands above your head in hopes of getting his attention. He looked down at you and didn't say anything. "Um. I'm here to do your maintenance check for the day." Again, Music Man was silent. After a minute of painful silence, he slowly brought down one of his many hands so it laid flat on the ground next to you. You stared down at his hand for a moment until you realized what you were supposed to do. Even though you were terrified, you stood on his hand and he slowly raised you up to the back of his head. Thankfully, you didn't have to stand on his tiny pole neck of his. Other than the fact that you almost lost your balance a couple of times, the maintenance check was much easier than you expected. It turned out that Music Man was the only animatronic that did not need to deactivate in order to work on him. You headed out the door and gave him a small wave not expecting to get one back. But he turned towards you and gave you a big wave goodbye. For someone who didn't talk, he was very sweet.

You started to head over to Rockstar Row again to meet up with Freddy. You decided to go check in with him from your FazWatch and tell him that you finished up your last task.
