I pinch the bridge of my nose as I watch, yet again, Bones and Rip argue amongst themselves.

"Then why don't you TP yourself instead! No one will know the difference!"

"If your sideburns were shaved, you would still look like a mongrel!"

"How long are they going to keep it up this time," I ask.

"Um...who are you?"

"Not this again, Scully!"

"O-Oops, sorry, Vlad."

As for myself, I'm still dressed in my tracksuit while my hoodie hides my shame.

"I know we keep the appearances up for the fans, but is it such a big deal that you can't show your real face in public?"

"That depends on how many times you are going to mistake my identity."

"Will you two calm down already," Franklyn lectures.

"Belmont is in town," Sloan advises, "he'll buy enough supplies by the time he comes back."

"Enough to stop this feud for another five months, I hope."

They go back to their rooms in a huff.

"Well, that could've gone better."

"At least they stopped trashing each other's lockers like last week."

Just then, Bones bursts out again in frustration.

"I told you to keep Hex in your room! He got to my beef-jerky again!"

"Then keep your door closed."

"You know he's clever enough to open it."

"Well, not enough to keep away from other people's stuff!"

"It's only natural for his instincts to kick in at this age, Bones. Still...he's hasn't shown himself since we walked down the halls and up here."

"You don't suppose he left the Cauldron?"

"But he never went outside the walls before. At least not on his own."

"Scully, you take the dummies. Sloan and Franklyn are with me."

We disperse without question and start searching the castle grounds.

I holler his name as I stroll down the empty hall. For hours, I searched high and low, but there is no sign of him.

'Could he really have gone outside the castle?'
