AKANE: Who are you really?
MIRA: What do you mean who am I?
AKANE: Your fighting skill, the movments. A normal person can't learn that.
MIRA: I just know how to fight it's not-
AKANE: You're hidding something!
SEI: Akane sto-
MIRA: Okay! Okay, I'm gonna tell you.
She breaths in and out.
MIRA: I wasn't a normal child.
She smiles akwardly.
MIRA: Actually you could say I didn't even have a childhood. I lived in a middle of a forest far away from everyone else with my parents. My parents were paid murderes, assassins. They started involving me in their jobs when I was only 6. They taught me how to sneak, break into buildings and...
Her body shivers.
MIRA: And kill. My parents weren't loving. When I made the slightest mistake they would beat me and then locked me up in a basement for a few days. Then I got a mission... A mission to steal a rock – The Uglax. Everything went okay until I touched the rock with my bare hand and then I saw it.
She looks up at Akane.
MIRA: I saw the future. I saw what would happen if I bring the Uglax to my parents. Fortunatly, I let go of the rock before it would burn my hand off.
She shows her glowed hand.
MIRA: I came to that mission thinking this was just a normal rock. I was wrong. It's the most dangerous thing that exists in this universe. I can't even imagine what could have happened if I held it longer than I did. So I took my coat, put the rock in it and ran away as far as I could, far away from my mission, far away from my parents, far away from my past. I came here and hid the rock, so no one could find it.
TAGGI: So you're an assassin?
MIRA: I was! I-I didn't choose to be this way. They made me this way.
TAGGI: Still-
MIRA: Do you think it was easy? Even now? Do you think it was easy to forget my past? Everytime I close my eyes I find myself in that basement frightened, alone! I still see the faces of everyone I've ever killed. I just want to forget that. I just want to forget my past! Do you even know how hard that is?
TAGGI: Yes I know!
Mira stops, realising what she'd said.
TAGGI: I know what is like trying to forget.
MIRA: I-I'm sorry.
She turns and runs outside.
SEI: Mira wait!
Akane stops him.
AKANE: I'll talk to her. It's my fault.
She runs after her. Mira is walking fast trying to hold back her tears.
AKANE: Mira wait!
MIRA: Leave me alone!
Akane grabs her hand.
AKANE: Mira!
MIRA: Release my hand.
Miras voice was cold, but Akane didn't releas it.
AKANE: I'm sorry.
Mira didn't look at her. Her eyes were shut.
MIRA: Sorry for what?
AKENE: Sorry that I made you remember.
She opens her eyes.
MIRA: W-what?!
She looks at her.
AKANE: I'm sorry you had to remember your past. I understand it must have been painful. I also had no choice but to become a killer.
MIRA: Thanks... and I'm sorry I hurt you.
She points at her cheek.
AKANE: It's nothing.
She releases her hand and starts turning around.
MIRA: Akane!
She turns around
MIRA: Why did you want the Uglax?
AKANE: They never told me.
MIRA: It must not fall into wrong hands. It's too dangerous.
AKANE: Don't worry
She turns away.
AKANE: I don't need it. My mission is no more.
Mira smiles.
