Akane is sleeping and Sei is looking at her. His hands goes through her scars on her back. He gives her a kiss behind her neck. He dresses up and goes in the main room where everyone is already gathered and having breakfast.
MIRA: Where's Akane?
SEI: She's coming.
He sits down. The silence is heavy. Taggi looks at a glass of water on the table.
TAGGI: Guys...
The ground starts shaking. Akane runs in, breathing heavily.
AKANE: They're here!
AI: Taggi how much time do we have?
TAGGI: The sheild should stop them for about 15 minutes.
MIRA: Okay let's move.
They start preparing and putting on armor. Akane turns to Sei.
AKANE: If anything goes wrong... Tell me. I'll come.
Sei nods.
SEI: Stay there for as long as you can, okay?
Akane nods and smiles.
AKANE: Be careful.
She kisses him.
MIRA: Let's go.
Ai, Shiro, Mira and Sei go outside. David follows them. Taggi stops grabs his hand.
TAGGI: I want to help.
DAVID: I know you want, but it's too risky for you. Your wound hasn't healed.
TAGGI: I know, but I still want to help.
DAVID: You've already helped so much. You've helped more than you think you did.
Taggi smiles.
TAGGI: Please be careful. I don't want to lo-
David hugs him.
DAVID: You won't lose me. I can't afford that. I can't let you be alone.
He smiles and goes outside. Everyone is standing there watching the enemy outside the wall.
AI: That's a lot of them?
SEI: We can do it, there's not too many of them.
Mira smiles.
MIRA: Yeah.
SHIRO: One minute.
And after that minute the sheild disappears. And the fight starts.
While fighting, Mira notices Sei's eyes glowing.
MIRA: Sei your eyes are glowing!
He grins.
SEI: Yes I know!
MIRA: Since when?
SEI: You know when Akane brought me back to life. She gave me a drop of that healling water. She has powers because she fell in it. That one drop gave me a little power.
His hands glow and he beats someone up.
MIRA: And why didn't you share that information with us earlier?
He smiles.
SEI: I like surprises.
He makes a portal and he appears somewhere else.
Mira rolls her eyes and smiles.
MIRA: Drama queen.
Akane is sitting in a room, hidden away from everyone. She is trying to connect with Eir.
She sees an army attacking her and Eir fighting them, but than she sees her being captured.
AKANE: No Eir!...
She lowers her hands.
AKANE: No, Akane remember she's immortal... But still I can't leave her there like that.
She takes the Uglax wraped in her coat and looks at it.
AKANE: Whatever it takes...
