6 - Trust?

Sei is looking at the projection of the planet.

SEI: Can you find information on that planet?

PERL: Of course.

SEI: I need to go. Be right back.

He stands up and goes to the door and as soon as he opens them and steps into the hallway he bumps into Mira. Miras cheeks turn pink.

MIRA: Oh, sorry.

SEI: Oh no, I'm sorry.

MIRA: Why are you in a hurry?

SEI: She's from planet Vulmone. In the Zagreus Star System.

MIRA: H-how? When did yo-?

SEI: Sorry, I'm in a hurry.

He runs on. Mira turns and sees the door to his laboratory open so she goes in. She sees the projection of the planet. She smiles.

MIRA: You suprise me more and more everyday.

Akane sitting on the floor, cross-legged. Her eyes are closed and she's moving her fingers. Little bit of magic flows from finger to finger. She's shuting her eyes even tighter, focusing. In her mind she's trying to communicate telepathically. But something's blocking it. She opens her eyes.

AKANE: I can't get to them... Something's blocking it.

Sei comes to the room and comes to the window. He goes straight to the mic.

SEI: Are you from Vulmone?

Akane turns around, but doesn't say nothing. She turns back around.

AKANE: Yes...

Sei smiles.

SEI: Can you tell me about it?

Akane turns to him her voice and look sharp.

AKANE: Why would I?

She turns back around.

AKANE: I don't trust you. You have an army. Any information I give away, can harm my people and my homeland.

SEI: An army? Oh you mean the projections that attacked you.

Akanes look is baffled.

AKANE: Projections?

SEI: We don't have an army. We're just a bunch of really smart kids who live here and invent stuff. The projections are David's invention...

He sees that she isn't turning around.

SEI: We're nothing special. Just a bunch of...

He stops for a moment. He frowns as reality sets in.

SEI: Losers.

Akane turns around. She is suprised. Sei stop talking to the mic and goes out of the room.

He is walking back to his office. Mira comes to him.

MIRA: Did Perl help you with it?

Sei looks up and nods.

MIRA: She really is an impressive invention of yours.

Sei smiles and blushes.

SEI: She's trying to find more about Vulmone. If I find anything I'll tell you.

MIRA: Okay.

Sei continues his way as Mira watches him, she blushes.

Sei comes to his office.

SEI: Did you find anything Perl?

PERL: Yes sir. It's not much. Not many Ceanuses were on this planet. Actually no Ceanuses has ever been there. This planet is populated with Vulomones. They are also known as assassins. Their features are long, like elf ears and light blue eyes.

SEI: Just like Akane...

PERL: Is that the girl you've drawn?

SEI: Yes.

PERL: She is quite beautiful... Just your type of a person.

Seis face turned red in an instant.

SEI: What?! N-no!

PERL: I'm just messing with you, sir... But be careful, she might be dangerous.
