Gracie

The game started, though it really wasn't a game. It was more of a drunken one on one puck shooting match. The boys being boys, made the whole thing a competition. Everything was always a competition between these two. The two boys were trying to beat each other with everything they had. Every so often, Shawn and Noel would flash their infectious smiles at Gracie.

Gracie sat there watching her lover in awe. He looked so sexy when he skated. She wished they had been together when he still played hockey. She would have loved to watch him in a real hockey game. Shawn was a beautiful man. He was a tall, freckled, blue-eyed God. He made her heart skip a beat. His infectious smile made her tingle in places she didn't know could tingle.

Gracie on the other hand was not a very good skater and she certainly did not like hockey much. But she thought it would be best to at least go out on the ice and practice her skating. Gracie got on the ice and skated around for a bit, but then left the boys to play their game. She enjoyed staying bundled up on the sidelines, watching. She couldn't stop thinking about the way he moved and how attractive it was. The way he skated backwards, showing off made her proud that he was hers. Hers, well that may be a little possessive. Yes, Shawn was her boyfriend, not her possession, though sometimes she felt possessive of him.

Noel was Shawn's best friend. Gracie had met Noel in the beginning of her relationship with Shawn. Noel was an arrogant, annoying, ass of a man but he was also a gorgeous man. He was a very tall, attractive, dark-haired, and green-eyed man. She was definitely not a fan of Noel but she always tried to keep things amicable for the sake of Shawn.

Gracie got chilled outside so she went into the lake house and waited for them to finish playing. They were staying at Shawn's family lake house for a few days, just the three of them tonight. They would be having a bunch of friends over tomorrow for the day and night. During the day everyone would be playing hockey together on the lake and in the evening they would be having a party.

After a little while, the boys came back in. Gracie was very tipsy, and she tried not to show it, but once she saw Shawn she pounced. She flung herself into his arms and kissed him passionately. Expecting him to kiss her back with the same level of enthusiasm, she ignored the fact that Noel was standing right there.

"Damn Shawn," Noel said laughing.

"Gracie, calm down," Shawn said pulling away from her. "Now is not the time for that." He said with flush cheeks, embarrassed.

"Sorry," she said sulking. "I think I'm just going to head up to bed now, you two have fun."

"Oh come on Gracie," Shawn said. "You don't have to leave".

"Actually, I'm really tired. I want to make sure im in good shape to see everyone tomorrow," she said with a forceful smile.

Gracie walked up the stairs and headed to bed. She crawled into bed praying for sleep to come, but her mind had other plans. She was upset, and tense. She wanted Shawn, she wanted him in a way she never wanted him before. Gracie wasn't sure if it was the fact the Noel was there too, or just the pent up sexual tension she felt between her and Shawn.

Finally, she began to dream, and boy was it ever good. She dreamt of Shawn and the things she wish could have happened that night. She dreamt of his hands on her body, hips lips against hers. She was happy, truly happy.

She was rudely awoken in what felt like 25 minutes later but was actually 2 hours later. A dark figure loomed over her, and she squinted to see who she thought was Shawn. When he sloppily kissed her, and she smelt his alcohol breath, she was immediately turned off. Gracie flung her eyes open to see Noel... not Shawn. Now Gracie was in a very bad mood. Not only was he super drunk, he was not her boyfriend. Gracie smacked Noel across the face.

"What the fuck Noel?" Gracie shouted. "Why the hell are you in here? What the hell do you think you are doing".

"Chill out," Noel said laughing. "Shawn passed out downstairs and I was lonely," he slurred.

"No," she shouted. "That wasn't okay, you need to leave now, go, go now" Gracie shouted. She was so pissed. She know that Noel was an ass but never did she ever think he would try and make a move on her, especially when she was certain he knew she hated him.

"No Gracie," Noel said pulling her up and against him. "I want you," he said.

She felt a tingle. She knew this was wrong, but it felt so good to be wanted especially after Shawn blew her off and avoided her affection earlier. No. This was not okay, she had to shut this down now. "Well tough luck Noel, I am NOT interested in you or anything you have to say, so you need to leave.. NOW" said Gracie.

He left, and Gracie got up quickly and locked the door behind him. Noel had ended her really good dream. She bubbled with anger, he actually thought that it would be okay to come in and wake her up by kissing her. She was his bestfriends' girlfriend... Gracie did not understand what he was thinking. She tried with everything she had to get back into that dream, and to even get back to sleep but it wasn't possible.

She must have eventually dozed off because she woke to the sound of light knocking on her door. She flung the door open without a thought about it to find Noel standing there, shirtless with two cups of coffee in his hands.

"Good morning Gracie, I was hoping we could talk," he said with a cheeky smile.

"Noel, I have no interest in talking to you about anything," she said before slamming the door shut. She straightened her spine, curling her lip feeling her temper starting to rise in her chest and shoulders.

"Gracie, come on. I want to apologize about last night," he said through the door.

God, he made her feel crazy. He shouldn't be here apologizing, it would have been better if he at least acted like nothing happened. "It's fine Noel, let's just please forget that the whole situation ever happened" Gracie exclaimed.

When Shawn finally woke up, he came up and knocked on Gracie's door - well their door before he came in. "I'm so sorry about last night Gracie," he said.

"Don't worry about it," she said.

"No, Gracie I know you wanted to spend some alone time together last night. I let you down. I'm sorry about pulling away from you when you kissed me. I didn't want Noel to get jealous." he said.

Gracie flinched at the sound of his name, Noel. She felt sick to her stomach. She did not want to think about Noel. She couldn't tell Shawn about what happened, he would absolutely flip out. Gracie did not want to jeopardize his friendship with Noel, even though she hated him, she loved Shawn. She completely understood Shawn bailing on their plans, no matter how sexy they may have been, his friend was there, they were not alone after all. The thing was, she would never bail on those plans. Even if they were in a house full of their family and friends, if he made a move and she wanted to act on them, she would. They had so much built up sexual tension from earlier on in the day, she had been surprised that tipsy Shawn did not want to pounce on her. "Shawn, don't worry about it. It wasn't the right time, I was inconsiderate of Noel, I shouldn't have tried to kiss you so deeply in front of him," she said with a weak smile.

Shawn smiled, and leaned forward and kissed Gracie. "We should get ready," he said. "People will be arriving soon".

"Okay," she said.
