The next day hunter came over. We sat in the den and played on my Nintendo. I was sitting there watching hunter play Animal crossing on my switch when hunter asked me something. "Hey Ed?" "Yes hunter?" "Can I tell you something?" He asked. "Yeah sure!"I replied "No Ed it's serious." "Oh okay?" "You can't tell anyone, alright?" " You're scaring me hunter, what is it?" "So basically.....I....am the golden guard." WHAT!!!! HOW COULD HUNTER BE THE GOLDEN GUARD???? HE WAS SO YOUNG, DID HE EVEN HAVE A CHILDHOOD???? " WAIT WHAT!?!!? YOU ARE THE-" "SHUSH ED!!" "sorry! Hehe" he explained how he had run away from the coven after going in to emperor belos' mind and how he was hiding at the owl house. "Wow" I said "I would have never guessed!" "I know it sounds crazy but you can't tell anyone this, okay?" "Okay" I replied. I watched hunter play animal crossing the rest of the time he was at my house while asking him what it was like being in the emperor coven. It sounded so unreal, having to get up at 6:30 every morning ,and only having one off day per year. It sounded terrible, yet hunter wasn't even fazed by the idea. Once hunter left my house I went to the bench. "No wonder the golden guard hasn't been at the market place anymore" I thought while watching the sun set over the boiling aisles.
