The Play

So, you know how I told you about the play we're performing, well that play is A Midwinter's Daydream, by William T. Spears. Well, school always seems more fun during play practice, and it's going to be even better this year because we only have 28 people in total, as opposed to our usual 75.

As I said before, interesting things alway happen during play time, especially on the nights of the performance.

Approximately 3 years ago, a boy new to our school, named Pepper Briarswamp, told me that he had feelings for me.

Pepper is very tall, I'm guessing around 6 feet tall. Now, he has short, dirty blonde hair, but 3 years ago, his hair was at shoulder length.

We became extremely close friends, but then, I felt as if we might have become more than friends. We almost kissed backstage at our last play! Sadly, Pepper decided to be a jerk to me at the beginning of this year, but for some reason, I still love him. Lately though, Pepper has been acting really nice to me again, so who knows what will happen.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, everyone in my grade is required to help with the play. Pepper is a great actor, and usually makes the audience laugh by saying something silly on stage.

This year, though, Pepper didn't want to be on stage, so he is on the tech crew, and will probably be working the spotlight, since he is so tall. I was a bit upset about this, as I love Pepper's acting, but at least he's happy.

There's also this other boy that I've known for most of my life named Indigo Bumblefield. We've been friends for a very long time, and I feel like we've grown even closer.

He has short, spikey, Brown hair, and is short like me.

He's really nice, even though most people can't see that, and we have many inside jokes.

Recently, Indigo and I had a 2 hour conversation, that ended with us both liking each other even more. We've become really close this year, but I wonder if it's too close. I mean, I like Indigo and all, but there's something about Pepper that is intriguing to me, I couldn't like Indigo more than a friend.
