A Strange Kind of Magic

All Black

I hear talking not too far from where I seem to be. I listen for a minute, they seem to be talking about.... me? I decide to open my eyes... everthing around me was black... I couldn't see anything. I decide to try to move my arms, it felt as though there was something restraining me. I feel around and realize I'm in a box. I push up as hard as i can, everything fills with light, I have escaped the box. I hear a voice say, "it appears she is awake." But wait, I thought I died? I look up to see a man with long gray hair, with bangs covering his eyes, who is wearing a strange hat. He helps me out of the box which I find out is actually a coffin. "Hello, I am the Undertaker." He says with a grin. "What happened to me, I thought I died?" I ask the Undertaker. "Well, I decided to let you live" he replies. Then I remember OH right... he's a Shinigami.

He hands me a beautiful blue gown and matching mask, and says, "I got you this for the masquerade ball at the Phantomhive Manor tonight." "Thank you!" I say as I run to a small room at the back of the shop to get changed.

Once I am dressed, the Undertaker offers to help me put my makeup on.

"All done" he says as he finishes. We rush outside just as a carriage pulls up to take us to the ball.

Once we artive at the manor, we walk inside the doors to see a sea of people. A group of people walk up to us. A girl walk up to Undertaker and gives him a hug. "Charlotte, this is my girlfriend, Silver Rose." I introduce myself.

THEN, I see my favorite Black Butler character, Grell Sutcliffe, walking towards us with a girl of his own. "OH MY GOODNESS! Hi Grell, I'm Charlotte! Nice to meet you!" I say while giving him a small hug around the waist. "Well, it's nice to see one of my dedicated fans, after all I am a grim reaper to DIE for." He says while pulling his signature pose.

The girl that is with him introduces herself to me. "Hello darling, I'm Scarlet Red, Grell's girlfriend."

After we talk for a few minutes, Ciel Phantomhive, the host of the ball, walks over to introduce himself. "Hello, Lord Phantomhive. I am Charlotte Candlewillow, thank you for inviting me to the ball" I say as I curtsy to him. I look behind him to see his butler, Sebastian, walking towards us. There is a girl hugging around his waist, but Sebastian keeps his emotionless face.

"Hello, Miss Candlewillow, I am Sebastian Michaelis, the Phantomhive butler." He says while bowing. I focus my attention to the girl around Sebastian's waist. "Notice me senpai...." I hear her say quietly. "Amaltheia, is that you?!" I ask. Her eyes dart up, and once she sees me, she takes me into a big embrace. "I see you have already met miss Raintwig..." Sebastian says. I giggle. "Yes, we are best friends!"

I look around, and already I recognize a lot of the guests. I see Alois clinging to Claude over by the refreshments table, I see Lau and Ranmao sitting on the couch. I see Lizzy walking around telling everyone how pretty they look, I see the Viscount Druitt... wait... I thought Ciel didn't like that guy... I also see Ronald Knox, and of course William T. Spears. William T. Spears.... hmm... OH MY GOSH, HE WROTE THE PLAY I WAS JUST IN!! I walk over to the reapers and tell William of what i just realized.

After a while of socialising, it is time to dance. Ciel whispers something to Sebastian as Lizzy comes over to dance with Ciel. Sebastian walks over to me and asks to dance with me. I can see the jealousy in Amaltheia's eyes. "Thank you very much for the offer. I would really like to, but I believe Miss Raintwig would like to even more. Why don't you ask her to dance." I say to Sebastian. "You are very kind, my lady." He says as he bows and walks to Amaltheia. I can see the happiness in her eyes as the take to the floor.

I decide to take a seat and watch all the other pairs dance. "My, my... how come a beautiful lady such as yourself doesn't have someone to dance with?" I turn around to see the masked stranger, he was also very handsome from what I could tell. "Who, me?" I ask. "Yes my lovely petal..." he replies. I blush as he holds out his hand to me. "May I have this dance?"  He asks. I take his hand and he leads me onto the floor. He dances very gracefully. I see everyone form a circle around us, and I am in awe at the entire situation.

"Who is that man?" I hear Ciel quietly ask Sebastian. Sebastian just smirks.

We continue to dance, and I become curious as to who this stranger. Ah crap... I think I'm falling in love with this guy. I pull off his mask, dropping it onto the floor. Everything stops. I gasp realizing who it is. "Pepper?! What are you doing here?!" I ask, hugging him and sliding off my own mask. "Looking for you." He says as he pulls me close for a kiss. I am blushing like crazy. Everyone claps for us as he leads me off the dance floor.
