I thought I would be angry about getting a smaller part this year, but I understand, I did get a big part last year, and was on stage for most of the play. I'm actually enjoying having a small part because I don't have many lines, and the time off stage is bearable because the play is at a dramatic shortness of 57 pages compared to the usual 100+.
I've been pretty sad lately, because one of my best friends ever, Amaltheia Raintwig, recently disappeared. She left without saying goodbye to anyone. I have tried to get in touch with her, but it seems hopeless. I really hope that she turns up soon, because I really miss her.
Before she left, Amaltheia got me into watching some anime shows, and I became addicted! We always fantasized about how cool it would be if the characters existed in real life.
This week in play practice, we learned a new dance. I really like this dance, because it is a partners dance!! This is my first time ever to do a partners dance! Even though I wish Pepper was my partner, I discovered that my good friend, Aven Hollycloud, is a pretty good dancer. Also, he doesn't act awkward when we have to do some "seductive" dance moves. So, all in all, I'm glad to have him as a partner. Some of the dance moves we still need some work on, but you know what they say, "practice makes perfect!"
