I ran out the door, and I followed the crowd.
"Where is the body?" I heard Chihiro's voice say. That was when we stopped. Right outside the public bathroom was Kyoko Kirigiri's dead body.
Shuichi was there, crying by her side. "Kyoko...you were gone all too soon!" He cried. I felt bad for him. I looked at the body closely. There was not a weapon in sight. I could see the wound, it was in her left leg. Someone stabbed her in her leg, causing her to die a slow, painful death.
"Me, Chihiro and Shuichi were on our way to my room from the auditorium to play a few video games." Chiaki explained. "Then we saw Kirigiri dead. We heard and saw nothing. No footsteps, no weapons, and no sounds, not a single clue."
"Ibuki is confused." Ibuki Mioda said, looking at the corpse. "Ibuki knows the auditorium is not far from the bathroom, it is only a whole hallway away and it was very peaceful. Surely you could have heard anything?"
"Yeah, that's a bunch of bs! You can hear anything from this hallway. No one even uses the public restroom that much, thanks to our own private ones." Miu yelled.
I notice Kokichi is in the crowd. He looks like he hasnt slept for days.
Shuichi glares at Kokichi, right in the eyes. What was going on?
...
...
We're having the trial now. Kokichi speaks up immediately, almost feeling like he was about to go to jail. I didnt want to admit it, but what if he killed Kyoko..
"I havent been out of my room for days. Regardless of anything you guys say, it wasnt anything like that. I bever killed Kyoko Kirigiri." Kokichi said.
"Sure you didnt," Shuichi said. "There was a whole drama that went down! Its either you or Kaede who killed her."
I glared at him in shock. Me? Killing Kyoko?
"Okay, whoa, whoa, hold up! Stop the drama bus." Miu said. "Whats all this drama you talk of?"
"Well, there was a lot of friendship errors between the four of us. I'd rather just leave it at that." I said looking down at the floor. Shuichi accused me of killing Kirigiri and for what? Because I wasnt on his side when he was being inconsiderate of other people?
"Well, I did see Kirigiri at around 12 pm. It was near a picture of Monokuma, near the dorm hall entrance. She seemed worried about something, or someone." Chihiro said.
"Did you speak with her?" Shuichi asked.
"N-no..." Chihiro responded.
"You all are going about this the wrong way. Obviously whoever killed her might not have had a reason to. Monokuma promised that whoever would graduate would receive a visit from a lost loved one. The majority of the people in this room might have had a lost loved one, and seeing Kyoko's vulnerability, anyone could take advantage of that." Byakuya explained.
"Wow, Byakuya...youre hot and youre smart?" Toko blushed.
"It could have been Kaede, and it could have been Kokichi. But with that statement, it could be anyone in this room. And that is the case." Byakuya continued, ignoring Toko's comment.
"You do have a point. But given the situation we were all involved in, it's a possibility that Kaede or Kokichi did it as a response." Shuichi said.
"Wait...Chihiro, when did you see Kyoko near the picture? What time did you see her?" I asked.
"I saw her at 12 pm." Chihiro said, refusing to make eye contact with me.
"Wait, hold on..." I look across the room at Leon Kuwata. "Maybe you don't have a deceased loved one, do you Leon?" I ask.
Leon looks at me. "I..I might. But I didn't see Kyoko Kirigiri until her death. I never even spoke to her."
Then I look at Nagito. "If youre thinking that it is me, it is not. I wouldnt need to do so. I know these are mostly all false promises created by Monokuma to fuel us to kill. If so, his plan may work on ordinary foolish people, but we are anything but." He responded.
Miu began to cry a bit. That was a bit out of character for her...
"Fine. I freaking admit it. I didnt wanna see a lost loved one, I was just tired of this freaking ugly killing game. You think I would rather rot with you all? I'd rather accept my fate and die. I saved someone from this cruel game, isnt that enough?" Miu confessed.
"But I never heard anything!" Chiaki spoke. "Like Ibuki said, the auditorium isnt far from the public restroom, which is where the body was found."
"I dragged her body to the bathroom, I thought I was gonna get away with it, yet I accept my fate. Be glad you saw my hot self while you could, because all the angels above are gonna see me now." Miu said.
"Wow, Miu. You were just gonna let me and Kaede take the blame?" Kokichi said. "You really are a filthy cumdumpster."
Miu sobs. "I accept my fate. I'm never gonna do the same thing again, not like I would have the opportunity anyways."
"I'm so confused. You dragged Kyoko's body? Where did you get the knife?" Chiaki asked.
"I got the knife from the dining room. I used my inventing skills to sharpen it as soon as the killing game was announced. I was gonna use it to defend myself, but I know...I know I couldnt."
"So let me get this straight. You saw Kyoko near the public restroom lost in thought, then you killed her by stabbing her?" Shuichi asked.
"I grabbed her, pushed her onto the ground and used the sharpened knife to stab her, that's the truth. I heard a bit of the drama going in Kaede's room so I took this as the opportunity to get away with it. Then if I were to graduate, I would receive the prize of seeing a deceased loved one and that would make my family happy. They always hated me for acting this way, so I thought this would be the way for them to love me again." Miu explained.
We were asked to vote again. Everyone voted Miu.
I waved to her, a bit sad, but at the end of the day, she was a murderer, and everyone knew it.
