So like I just finished reading 'how to finish your bucket list before you die - a guide by Kaeya Alberich' and after crying I was like, I feel inspired to write something, and now I was like Eula = likes dance, what if Kaeya like... stumbled on Eula dancing near the beach? Headcanon: Eula and Kaeya are friends and dance together, but Kaeya started learning when he was still living with Crepus and Diluc while Eula learned as a teenager. So Kaeya can dance better and for longer

Dancing at Twilight

Kaeya was walking near the beach. He had dropped his normal outfit for a corset, with a white dress shirt and leggings with boots reaching up to his knees, his boots ended in heels, raising his height. With a swift movement he turned towards a soft sound, his eyes narrowed before returning to a normal state, Eula. Luckily, it wasn't a threat. He jumped down and landed with a plunge of his sword to break the fall, "Captain Eula, what a surprise."

"No need for formalities Kaeya," Eula responded.

He laughed, "Dancing?"

Her feet and legs moved gracefully with smooth movements and the slight twisting of her waist, instead of heels, she dressed in boots, similar to Kaeya's usual ones. She faced the water until she turned towards him. She dressed the same as usual, just without the cape and the sock-like boots. Kaeya played with a dagger, a present from Rosaria. "Join me Kaeya, dance isn't fun without another."

Eula's skill with dance was sharp but Kaeya's was better, even she couldn't deny it. "As you wish."

He joined her in dance, heels meeting sand and departing once again, light amounts of sand came up from the movement of shoes. His movements were fluid, graceful, and elegant. He danced to the moon rising and the set of the sun, he swiftly said, "Would you care for a dance, Eula?"

Eula held his hand and together they danced. It was a simple dance, one that couples would do to show status, but to Eula and Kaeya, a show of friendship. "So how is the Cavalry Captain faring without the cavalry?"

"Fine, " he replied slyly.

Together they moved, one foot in front of the other, out to the side, releasing hands, the swift reconnection, and the skillful twisting of waists. Feet met the sand, like water, spreading out the sand before departing, and again it happened. As the final part of the dance came, his hands slid to her waist and he didn't an unpredictable move.

"That was fun Kaeya. But the dance doesn't end like that."

"If I didn't do unpredictable things I wouldn't be Kaeya, would I?" He laughed.

Eula pretended to think, "You're right."

Two cryo-users danced in the night until dawn, apart and together, without talking, just until the break of dawn showed the sun's face once again. "It's been a while since we've danced this long Kaeya."

She leaned against Kaeya. Her breathing slowed down to normal as they rested. Her legs felt like blocks of heavy marble, he noticed this. "Don't tell me your legs are sore already?" He teased.

"You know I can't handle as much as you," Her aching muscles made her struggle as she walked.

With a quick easy movement, he quickly lifted her, supporting her back with one arm and her back with another. Eula was surprised but didn't protest. "Let's go to my house, I'll find you something to rub into your legs."

"If I protest, would you let me down?" She asked.

"Not at all."

So Eula tiredly let Kaeya hold her, "It's been a while Kaeya."

"Naturally, after the Grandmaster's leave, we've all been busy, you should know that.." He answered.

They quieted as they reached the gate, passing Timmie's pigeons, the kid wasn't there now but he would be later. They passed the guards and they quietly let the two go inside, Kaeya knew they were most likely whispering about the sight. Sometimes he swore that the guards gossiped more than the ladies in Mondstadt. They reached his house, it was small and in the corner of town, close to taverns. Kaeya walked upstairs and placed her on the couch in his room, "Want me to go to your house to get your socks and shoes?"

In response, Eula tossed him the keys, "Yes."

He caught the keys and searched in the cabinet in his room, "Ah there it is."

He placed the pain relief and sore muscle gel on his dresser. Before walking down the stairs with Eula's keys dangling from his fingers he said, "Use your vision as an icepack, I'll be back before you know it."

Eula knew that was a lie but didn't question it, going into the town as one of the more recognized members of the Knights of Favonius usually means you've been getting someone's cat out of a tree or passing. Kaeya teleported from the stairs to the door and locked it behind him. "Good morning Captain Kaeya!"

"Good morning."

"Look mommy, it's Captain Kaeya."

He reached to pat the child's head before walking. It was crowded with people heading to work and adventurers receiving commissions. But like usual he stopped to flirt casually with Sara before grabbing some groceries. After taking a cat down from a tree and talking to Diona about bad drinking habits, he finally got to Eula's apartment. He unlocked the door and grabbed Eula's usual clothing, a replacement of the usual Captain uniforms. He locked the door behind him and stuck to the shadows until he got to his house.

He opened the door and locked the door behind him, lockable doors are better locked than unlocked. "Eula?"

"I'm still here."

"I got your clothes, " he said while walking up the stairs to his bedroom.

He went inside the room and tossed Eula's stuff on his bed and the boots on the floor. "It's about time to get to work, I'll help you rub in the gel."

When they finished Kaeya grabbed his clothes from the bathroom, they were dry after being washed. Kaeya hesitated before grabbing his corset and tying it, not too tight but not loose at all. By the time Kaeya finished brushing his hair, Eula was done, "How're your legs?"

"That gel helps, in an hour I'll be back on my feet without any pain."

They walked to the building together, and their night of dancing finished.
