POV: Percy
Never thought I'd say I had a fake girlfriend.
Deep down I feel bad for doing this mostly to spite Calypso.
What have I gotten myself into?
Having a girlfriend is kind of a pain relief. I like having someone to hang out with and be close with. And now I have a girlfriend who hates me and who I can't even break up with for the next few months.
The guys interrogate me for the entire day.
They wanted to know everything about my "relationship" with Annabeth.
I avoid all of their questions, especially Grover's. He got his worried look in his eyes and I can tell I won't be able to avoid him for long.
I don't think I can lie to Grover.

I meet up with Annabeth after school.
I don't think it's ever been this awkward with any of my girlfriends. I usually don't even talk much with my girlfriends and if we do ever fight let's just say I know how to defuse the tension.
Gods, I sound like an asshole.
Sorry.
"Hey," I jump over the bench to sit next to her and she startles a little.
"Oh, hi." She doesn't look up from her notepad and it's silent for a while.
"So what are we here to do again?" I ask.
She rolled her eyes. I've noticed she does that a lot.
"We are here to make some rules"
I nod and I shove my hands in my pockets.
"Ok, do you have any ideas?" I say after another couple of minutes of silence.
She then hands me a full page of rules.
Rules:
1. Keep it a secret unless discussed with the other.
2. No secrets between each other.
3. Try and become closer friends so this doesn't have to be insufferable.
4. We have to stick it out until May 17.
5. No kissing.
6. No PDA. Which is basically the same thing but just for clarification.
7. Percy gets to break up with me at the end.
8. Dial the relationshipness up around Calypso and Luke.
9. We can't bring our families into this.
10. No catching feelings.
I scratch the back of my head and look over at her.
"I have some notes. We can totally have secrets. We aren't in a real relationship. That's just the know-it-all coming out in you. The no PDA might be hard. I am probably going to end up telling Grover but that won't be a problem. He won't tell anyone. And lastly are you sure about the last rule, Wise Girl? Because it might be hard for you to not catch feelings."
She once again rolled her eyes. "I think I'll be fine. Don't you worry about me. And I guess we can have some secrets. The only PDA allowed is hand holding, you can put your arm around me, when we hang out with friends and watch a movie we can do a type of cuddling so people don't get suspicious but nothing to extreme, and we can kiss on the cheek. Also why Grover?"
